Verified Reviewer |Problem activating a licence
- - Company purchased product and sent login credentials to upgrade from trial.
- - Activation fails with the same error, blocking license activation.
I am working for a movie production company, and they purchased the product for me. They then proceeded to send me the username and password so that I could upgrade the trial version with the normal one.
It is impossible to activate the license for some reason, and I always get the same error. The work needs to be done ASAP, so please help me.
I forward some screenshots to show the error message I get. Thank you.

Well, dead issue with Reallusion… you have to pretty much know before the 14-day mark if the tool meets all your requirements (try before buy type of thing) in order to claim the return. The poor customer service side of this is that they DO NOT take into account any special conditions that may have occurred… so, BUY LESS AT A SINGLE PURCHASE because if you make a mistake, you will bear the consequence.
I missed CTAv4 and purchased CTAv5 at the time of purchase of CTAv5 I mistakenly purchased a plugin for CTAv4 (unknowing that the plugin features are in already in CTAv5 for $69 USD) and did not recognize the mistake until the 90-day mark. The plugin was never installed and as a good will courtesy I asked the company for a credit for the return of the unused plugin - they refused, siting their 14 day return policy. It took > 90 days to attain enough knowledge of the v5 program to make the conclusion the plugin was already in v5. Furthermore, their online purchasing system never alerted me to double check the plugin purchase because I never purchased v4.
So, Im pissed.
No more LOYALTY for Reallusion. I have spent > $1000 USD historically with this company, Im done.
