In my first and only experience with Real Feel Studios, I was greeted by the recording engineers at the door and immediately noticed a sense of arrogance among the staff. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, assuming the arrogance was perhaps earned or achieved from running a successful business.
After all, this is the music industry we are talking about. Beyond that, they even keep plaques all over the walls for all eyes to see. I thought to myself, "These guys are the real deal". For the first 10 minutes, they went on about all the big names they had worked with over the years.
It was at that point I knew I had come to the right place....So i thought. Without question, I paid up front for an hour session. A little annoyed considering I only needed about 30 min, but being optimistic I was not about to argue with policy. After my session ended, I was given a deadline of 2 weeks or less.
Before leaving, I asked for a rough copy of my recordings for validation purposes. In all honesty, I went home that night feeling very positive about the whole experience. I was planning to be a regular customer instantly, however the skeptic in me decided to wait for a finished product. In all my excitement the 2 weeks came quickly, and with no contact from them I decided I would i would wait another day.
I Instead waited 2 days before reaching out, hoping that good things would come to those who wait. I was told that it would be another week for my product tops. Being the patient person I am, I shrugged it off. This process repeated itself week upon week until almost 2 MONTHS had gone by.
I finally expressed my dissatisfaction with their level of service and communication only to be told that my songs were finally finished. Convenient timing right? "Whatever", I thought to myself. I was too eager and excited to even pay mind to the fact there was no acknowledgement of my grief.
Its not like I was expecting a discount on my next visit (Though it may have prevented this review from coming to existence!), however I've always had a soft spot for a genuine apology. Never happened. Upon listening to the songs my excitement quickly faded when I realized they sounded identical to the rough mixes I was given the day I recorded! This experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
Reason being that I always make the effort to respect all, and realistically only EXPECT the same when I am spending MY money. I am in no way saying the staff at Real Feel are inexperienced or bad at what they do. In fact they were really informative and as i said before, the vibes were great. What I can only assume caused them to push me to the back burner was either my lack of studio experience or that I am not famous.
Either way, it doesn't take a detective to see that I was forgotten about. For all I know, they didn't work on my music at all. It felt as though they simply sent me the songs out of frustration in hopes that I would just... go away.
Well I definitely went away, but i will not keep quiet about it. Beware of Real Feel Studios if you are not a "Somebody" in the industry.
P.S. If you are ever in the Orlando area and looking for a studio that prides its self on reliability and staying humble, try Define Enterprises. I am in no way affiliated with them nor do i work for them.
They are just great people who have created a great environment to work in.
They even have a white room in the back for photo shoots. Call and ask for Brill!

We are so sorry to hear you're unhappy with our services, we pride ourselves in customer service and treating every client with the same respect - in reality we don't work with a lot of big names, the majority of our clients are local artists.
As far as your experience, I couldn't find any sessions that matched your story in the last couple months, so I'm a little puzzled.
We do charge $50 and hour for most of our services - but in order to complete a song you'd need to do at least two hours - most of our clients do two hours of recording and one of mixing to complete a song. Without mixing, you're correct in thinking the song wouldn't sound different then when it was recorded - but our staff usually follows up with every client after sessions to make sure they understand the mixing process.
If you are unhappy with anything, it's important that you simply let us know, the entire staff is very down to earth and always interested in helping our clients, and rarely get reviews like this - in fact I'm pretty sure this review is fake and simply an ad for the other studio mentioned. But either way we are here to make it right if you need anything please don't hesitate to ask.
