Fishy service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I went in because the engine and the oil lights were on .

They told us that because we change oil somewhere else and they put in a very bad oil filter .

They also do the type B service

on the car which cost us more then

$400

The next day both lights was back on again PLUS the car make so much noise on the passenger side

( they said something about the brake making the noise )

Now they want more then $500 to

Replace the oil sensor and the cable

What kind of service is it ?

The same lights but different problems the next day .I don’t think they know what the *** they doing

Beware upsell service

I've been a loyal customer at Ready Honda since buying my first new Honda Accord from them in 1991. (That's 26 years if you're counting!).

I've always gotten them to service my Honda cars from tire changes to oil changes, brakes, batteries,... basically everything as I have trusted their work and honesty. Their prices were not the lowest, nor the highest but they retained my business as they never upsold me. Wherever possible, I've asked for the old parts back or ask to see the old parts to understand what exactly was replaced or repaired.

Lately, since 2016, I've noticed they have been trying to upsell me for non-necessary replacements and/or services. I am not pleased with this change in their approach to a long, loyal customer.

As well, I've never asked for discounts for any of their maintenance and or repair services despite having gone there for 26+ years. Consequently, I'll be looking for a new repair/maintenance provider as Ready Honda seems to be putting $$$ ahead of retaining customer loyalty.

2014 Honda Civic Car Review from Mississauga, Ontario

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

1. Cheated me into buying extended warranty or else "I won't get the car" (total cost 5k)

2. Sales lady said that GPS has "traffic" control and thus takes me the best routes. It's a 2014 and a $50 garmin has that option but the civic doesn't. And this is the high end one with leather and all.

3. Service - these guys literally just do nothing. It's been two years and they haven't even told me once that the air filter and intake filter should be changed. They are just waiting that something breaks down so they can say it's not under warranty since it was my fault.

4 complete liars. Don't trust them.

My friend recommended Ready Honda for a new car because of the customer service she received from Shawn Sheikh. She had bad credit and got turn down from many dealers..

Shawn made it happen for me with a great attitude and a great smile.. I cannot thank him enough for giving me an opportunity to drive in STYLE..

Thank you SHAWN SHEIKH.. I will recommend to everyone!!!!!!!

I also had bad credit and when I went car shopping at all the big name dealership in GTA area I found myself at Readhonda.com. Shawn talked to me and told me everything that had to deal with credit.

I bought a 2015 Honda Accord and can't be any happier.

From the time i walking into the show room to picking up my car I would give them A+. Thanks again Shawn!!

Loyal Customer No More

ReadyHondaRep told me that they have to full inspection of my car bec winter is coming, so I agreed. He came back and said transmission fluid needed to be changed. So I agree and I paid about $500.

They said that transmission needs to be changed but nothing urgent. I should last for another year, they said that I should save about $1800+.

After 3 months, transmission was not working. My car got towed to a new mechanic, he said transmission fluid has not been changed in a long time bec of that the transmission is now broken, it cost me$1469.

Honda Customer Service is PATHETIC!!!!!!

Honda Customer Service is completely unacceptable!!!!

My husband and I have been Honda lover for well over 15 years. We have always bought used Hondas and never had a problem besides the regular wear and tear on the vehicle.

Our issues with Honda all began in June of 2003 when my husband purchased a 2001 Acura Integra Type-R at Erin Mill Acura in Mississauga. When he purchased the vehicle the rims had been touched up with pain. They promised it would not turn any other shade over time. We purchased the Acura Plus Extended Warranty from the dealer just to be safe. Well shortly after the vehicle was purchased the rims began to turn a disgusting colour of yellow. The SRS light came on the dash; I took it into Acura Erin Mills numerous times they always said the part had not come in. Well it seems the part never came in and the SRS light is still on the car 9 years later!!!! Car was purchased with 11,000 km and only has 23,000km now 9 years later. We lost the money for the extended warranty on that deal.

In 2005 we purchased a 2005 Honda Pilot fully loaded at Ready Honda in Mississauga. We purchased the extended Honda Plus warranty; along with that Keystone mechanical warranty cash back on the bill of sale should we not use it. Well in 2010 the truck was stolen from our home. I went into the dealership and spoke with the owner of Ready Honda he informed me that although they promoted and sold this keystone product they were no longer responsible for this warranty because the company went bankrupt. We lost money on all those warranties that was supposed to be cash back.

In July 2012 we purchased a brand new Honda civic from Ready Honda, as soon as we drove it off the lot we noticed the car pulled to the right, and the muffler makes a rattle noise upon shutting off the car. I took it into service twice for them to tell me it was the characteristic of the vehicle, and that the car pulls to the groove of the road. I didn't agree with their conclusion I told them I would take the car to get aligned digitally the service manager said go ahead and let me know what happens. Sure enough I took the car to get digitally aligned and the alignment was off I paid to fix the problem. Took the receipts into Ready Honda just to be reimbursed for the money I spent to rectify a problem that I brought to their attention. Two weeks later and I haven't received an apology or my money back. I called Honda Canada customer relations and they were supposed to deal with the problem a week later and nothing either.

Honda generally speaking is a great product; however the customer service is pathetic!!!! Way to go Erin Mills and Ready Honda you surely have no clue on the meaning of the word Customer Service…

These guys are rip offs. They are getting worse and worse.

Ripping customers even off now by saying stuff like oh buy the extended warranty else we won't give you the car.

And then they are going all over and submitting fake reviews. Total pathetic losers.

If they would at least spent half this time worrying about their customers they would do much better. But nooooo being crooks is easier for them apparently.

Honda has not figured out what customer service is. I would never buy another one of their products
