I placed an order for 5 readers for $75.36. My confirmation says I one order for $75.36.

My visa bill shows 7 payments of $75.36.

Please reverse the extra orders. It has me owing $401 for 35 pair of glasses.

I woke up feeling great until I ordered two pair of glasses from the Readers location in Greenwood, Indiana. There is a particular pair of readers that I like called 'The Beau'.

I bought one and now bought two more. So I have a 40% off coupon that I wished to apply to the full order of the two glasses. And then they say that if you spend $35 or more I would have free shipping. So...In my mind I am thinking that my order should all together be around something like $25.

They charged me almost $40...the same I would have paid had I had no coupon or free shipping!!! I am thinking, Wow! These quys are good! So I was going to let it go...but the more I thought about it the angrier I became.What happened was: When I applied the coupon to the full order it dropped the full order to below $35 which then nullified the coupon and then charged me shipping and handling for both pairs individually!!!

was kind of led to believe that the coupon would be applicable based on the full retail price. Not so.

So actually, I have paid more than if I had just bought the two pair separately and applied the coupon to each one separately. I almost want to find the guy who concocted this scam styled manipulation and give him another free $10 dollars or so for his or her cleverness.

I have bought about 10 pairs of glasses from this site and every single pair of glasses start to de-laminate after a couple of months. Basically, their glasses have a cheap layer of plastic that comes off after normal usage. For example, the tortoise shell glasses that you like so much? Well, they lose their looks by peeling off the base plastic... I've even had plain old black pairs (i.e., the kind Drew Cary used to wear) de-laminate.

Readers.com customer service simply states that their glasses are only guaranteed for 30 DAYS!!! Well, they should tell their Chinese manufacturers to step up their qualite control.

A Big Boo to Readers.com!!! I am no longer a customer... stay away!
