Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Explanation or how error occurred and apology. Be careful and check on any unusual direct debits on your account.

Original review Mar 22, 2026
Yesterday I had an unauthorised withdrawal of £39.99 from my bank account from an entity calling itself Peterborough Community Radio FM. As I am unaware of this company, I contacted my bank to cancel the transaction, reclaim my money, and raise a fraud complaint.

As a result of further enquiries by my bank, it would appear that this transaction is also connected to a Radio Clyde children's cancer fund. It was then discovered a further transaction in 2025 was connected to Planet Radio. It was at this stage I realised who had taken the money from my account. My question is, why is there no reference to Planet Radio or Rayo attached to this transaction?

I was seconds away from cancelling the transaction and raising a fraud enquiry.

Not only was this a time-consuming inconvenience to my bank, but it also nearly resulted in my debit card being cancelled and re-issued, with all the accompanying aggravation this would cause. In this day and age of internet fraud, I would have thought it imperative that Planet Radio/Rayo would correctly identify themselves when making withdrawals from customers' bank accounts and reckless when they do not.

User's recommendation: Don't pre-authorise transactions with this company

Why have I been charged 3.99 by planet radio premium. Didn't order anything

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Asks why Planrt Radio charged £3.99 and where credit card details came from.
  • - Says being referred to another place and asked to pay £1.

Why do you need 100 characters when you did nothing? I was referred to some other place and to pay a £1. All I am asking is why have Planrt Radio charged me £3.99 and where did they get my credit card number to charge me?

Usually pay £3.99 per month for greatest hits ads free radio by a company called Rayo.I recently noticed that I had £39.99 deducted from my bank account without my permission to do so.I phoned Rayo but although I received an email response stating that Rayo were aware of my message left on their answer service and someone would contact me within two days. Two weeks later and still no response from them by phone or email.

Originally I've paid £3.99 per month for premium prescription. Today I've been charged £39.99 with no advance email to inform me of changes to monthly prescription. Looking as though I've been charged for an annual prescription without my consent.

Charged for Premium

AI Highlights
  • - Charged £3.99/month for premium since December, even after deleting the account in June 2024.
  • - Support or customer service appears unavailable.

I have been getting charged for premium for the last year. I had premium from December last year and deleted my account at the end of June 2024, when I no longer used the app.

I have still been charged £3.99 a month even though my account doesn't exist. There is no clear way of this being stopped and it seems like their support or customer service just doesn't exist.
