Horrible customer service and product
I did business with this company about a year ago the engine I received was basically DOA it took several months to get the engine. Then after several more months of fighting for a replacement or refund they finally agreed to a refund but I never actually got a refund or replacement.
They now have my money, engine core, original engine. Along with oil pan , valve covers and timing cover that they requested I leave on when I send it back for replacement. Please do not do business with them.
I have all of this documented via email including the promise of a refund, but it's been over a year I'm sure I will never see any of it. Again, PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH RAPTORENGINES.COM

Ripped off lying ***
Waited 3 months for a junk motor sent it back never got a refund never got a motor got *** out of 2,800 do not do business with this company

Blown motor
motor came apart after 20hrs.wrong rod and main bearings where installed.cylinder walls where not round.cheap quality pistons.

Engine failed after less than 2000 miles
Engine suffered multiple major failures within the first 2000 miles... did not even make it through the break-in period.
Warranty not honored.

Business is a Rip Off
Greg Mahoney will steal your money! Ordered an engine from him and then canceled it but he never refunded me.
Had to file a dispute with my bank.
Thankfully got my money back. He will never follow through with what he says.

Warranty is problems
Purchased a rebuilt Toyota R22 engine. The head was machined wrong
and I had a machine shop redo it.
Greg agreed to refund a portion of the
cost to correct the problem. The refund never came.I called him many
times and he always said it was being processed. I finally gave up.
I don't think he ever intended to refund anything. Their
7year 70k mileage warranty is a hype.

Raptor rupture
Ordered motor from Raptor Motors. Supposed to be a Hi Performance 3vze.
Spent near $2300.00. with exchange. After sever calls to Greg discussing low compression and oil consumption. Greg says 130# acceptable.all rebuilds use oil he says.
Tore down motor Block is .040 over and scored (Junk) heads cracked (junk). buy new block ,new heads, new internals. and balanced $3800.00 more into this Truck.
Stay away from Raptor! Use you own motor if possible!

Greg is a Burn , Rip Off Specialist DON'T GET BURNT ! He kept his motor i returned because of chinise gaskets And he kept my $1995.00 ... i hope you see this Greg , time is on my side

Junk don't bother
Ordered motor on June 18, 2015 It took us several phone calls and many excuses about the production of our motor. We would call to ask about shipping and Greg would say that it was shipped and he couldnt tell us a tracking number of the motor.
We was gonna cancel it but desided to wait a little longer. When we got it was missing the flex plate. So we has to purchase that and he said he would send us the money. Took two more month to get money for that.
but not the whole price that we paid for it. Now a year later will less then 200 miles on the motor because we only drove it to a couple of car shows. It has a crack in the block and in the heads. My hubby is very upset because were out 3000 dollars.
Can't use car now!

I ordered an engine from Raptor Engines on June 9-2016, I was told it would take 5-7 days build time in their machine shop, 2-3 days shipping from them to San Diego, Ca. As of June 28th still no engine.
After many repeated phone calls to Greg, & many LIES later I cancelled the ordered.
I don't believe there ever was any intention to actually ship an engine to me. I feel that Greg takes your money & then doesn't deliver any product, therefore ripping you off.
This guy is the biggest *** bag, he's a liar & a thief! DO NOT BUY ENGINES FROM THIS BUSINESS!

Raptor rebuilt engine blew after 1400 miles
Rebuilt engine was purchased on line and delivered several weeks later than promised. After installation in our motorhome, and several break-in runs, we took a trip to Bullhead City AZ.
On the return trip up the grade from the Colorado river, the engine blew up and a rod went through the block and started a fire. The fire was put out, but the motorhome was totaled and my wife suffered burns on both legs when a heater hose ruptured.
An expert mechanic analyzed the engine and concluded that one of the connecting rod bearings was either too loose or too tight. Raptor refuses to take any responsibility!

Raptor engines / Greg Mahoney have stolen $2645.00 from me for a engine they never delivered. I ordered it 89 days ago and was told it would ship in 21 days.
I paid in full when I ordered it and I don't think they had any intentions of delivering it. I think he uses everybody's money to fund his lifestyle and his son Ross's racing.
Only one thing to say. You and all who are in your boat with Raptor Engine's need to file a class action suite.
If it was me I would not give the time to mount a defence. Do the right thing or be the problem.
Yes you all are the problem not Raptor Engine's, you let him get away with it by hanging up the phone and saying to your selves, Lession Learned or most popular Oh Well. He is having all the fun on " YOUR " money.

I've had the exact same experience. I spent 1800.00 I've received nothing.
Upon talking to Greg Mahoney all I get are lies . The company is now Raptor Engines . Just wanted to update I can't believe in these great states people like this are allowed to do business it's theft plain and simple. He's probably a *** head like all the other thieves.
How Oregon state government can stand by and do nothing I have no idea.
We should all ban together for a class action law suit. I had no idea till I talked to the guy and he just seams shady I research it and find this I'm stunned.
The reason things like this happens is American's are too content, they are asleep, they let there GOVERNMENT do as they please. You are absolutly correct, you should start a class action suit, but will you?.
I am an american, that is ashamed of how this county has gone down the drain, every aspect of it is out of control because we the people do not demand control of Washington DC.
I feel sorry for you bud. Don't wait, start your suit now.
