I had a simple, basic question - What is the maximum water pressure in PSI that Raindrip Compression Fittings (ie # R374C) are rated at?

I couldnt get anyone to answer my question.

User's recommendation: Don’t bother. It’s a waste of time.

Raindrip Water Timer unreliable

AI Highlights
  • - The Raindrip battery-operated timer is not reliable.
  • - It won't shut off after the set time.
  • - AC-powered timers are more reliable.

I bought a Raindrip battery operated (non digital) water timer about a year ago (May 2011). It cost almost $50 at Ace Hardware.

It's a nice, solid looking unit, but unfortunately, it's not reliable. It will not shut off after the selected time. Truth is, I haven't had much luck with battery operated timers of any make. The AC powered ones (reduced to 24-28V) are much more reliable, if installation is practical.

I was just hoping to find something I could connect to a hose bibb without running wires. So far no luck.
