Print broker not paying printer for direct mail pieces

These people insert direct mail pieces into their local shopper newspaper. They were having me do the printing of the mail pieces to be inserted. They would receive the product from me and were on a net 30 for payment. They had been doing printing with me for many years and they started getting slower and slower in paying and eventually were printing more than what they were paying and eventually got way behind. They would give me checks that would bounce, and eventually instead of depositing a bad check, I would go to the bank to see if funds were available seeing that I banked at the same bank they did. It would sometimes take me 5 to 6 months to deposit a check that they had written because of NSF funds. It got to the point that if I stopped doing printing for them that they would never pay me, and that is exactly what happened. I tried to work out a payment plan on past invoices and C.O.D. on current projects, but they chose to go screw some other printer or printers. I've hired a collection agency to try to recover my losses but they too have had no luck. Fair warning for all - Do not accept checks from these people. Cashiers check or money order is recommended for payment or they will get you too.
