We love our kitten
We got our kitten from Ragdolls totally terrific about a month ago and it was the best decision we couldve made. It was a pleasure doing business with Nilda.
She is a very sweet lady. This was our first time keeping a pet at home, she answered all our questions and helped us explain what we can do to keep our kitten comfortable and happy.
We love our kitty so much. Hes a wonderful addition to the family!

First of all I am not pissed off. Can anyone tell me if this is really true, Ive been speaking with Nilda who owns Totally Terrific Ragdolls in the Dallas area, she seems very nice and upfront with me, maybe this is a different breeder in a different state ?? Can Anyone confirm ?
Thank you.
- Very nice lady and seems valid to me
Preferred solution: Just trying to validate this is a good breeder I have no reason not to think she isn’t, I don’t believe this information is correct unless someone can prove it to me.
Ragdolls Totally Terrific has been Slandered by MISTAKE :(
The person making this comment is probably right about A Ragdoll breeder who sells sick kittens, changes their names and is just a breeding mill, but that is NOT ME! Ragdolls Totally Terrific - RTT IS NOT the cattery mentioned in the complaint. Ragdolls Totally Terrific - RTT is not KNOWINGLY associated with anyone or anything who is not top notch exceptional. My name is Nilda Tull, I am the owner of Ragdolls Totally Terrific - RTT. Previous to and as of October 2016, I am NOT in business with any other Ragdoll breeder, nor have I ever used a different cattery name other than Ragdolls Totally Terrific - RTT. I am a very small show breeder and as of October 2016 have only three breeding females and one breeding male. Every litter has at least three well kitten vet check appointments; which are verifiable records for each litter, that I can provide; proving appropriate care of my cats and the kittens I sell. The mother of each litter is also vet checked at the first inoculation appointment, just as a precaution. Every cat is loved and well cared for in our home. Before purchasing my first Ragdoll kitten, I spent over a year showing feline house pets in order to develop relationships with reputable breeders and build a network of associates that could guide me, when necessary in order to do a good job for the public and the felines. Just visit my website at:
www.RagdollsTotallyTerrific.com
and check it out for yourself. My picture is on the site. I don't doubt the person making the above complaint had very bad experiences with some Ragdoll breeder.... it just was NOT Ragdolls Totally Terrific. I don't doubt there is a person that is horribly taking advantage of the Ragdoll breed and the wonderful people who are just trying to purchase a sweet adorable kitten for their family. Believe me I know of at least one Ragdoll breeder in the area who sells sick kittens with ringworm. The problem of abuse does exist...just NOT with me. I as describe on my website, I am an exceptional Ragdoll show breeder in morals, care, feeding, vet care, love and attention to and for the felines which includes good customer service. I hope the person making the complaint, corrects the oversight of linking me with the horrible experiences and the horrible individual mentioned in the above complaint. I wish you well in your search for your new feline family member and appreciate the fact you are devoting the time to look up and read reviews in an effort to be an informed buyer. There are many good reputable breeders. Make sure you purchase from a breeder who sells you a kitten that has been spayed and neutered and provides a breeder slip from either The International Cat Association TICA or Cat Fanciers Association CFA so that your kitten can be registered. Breeders that can afford to spay and neuter kittens as part of the purchase price, can also afford to properly feed and care for their cats. Early spay and neuter is another way you as a buyer can be more sure you are purchasing a kitten from a reputable breeder. Every person who purchased a kitten from me at Ragdolls Totally Terrific-RTT has received a breeder slip for registration papers with TICA. Every kitten leaving my home has been spayed or neutered. Every kitten sold from RTT has been healthy, had two of the three required vaccinations and has been vet checked a minimum of three times (once at the two inoculation appointments and again at the spay or neuter surgery). Another way to help ensure that you are dealing with a reputable show breeder is to only purchase a Ragdoll with BLUE EYES. ONLY Ragdolls with BLUE EYES are in the show standard of: The International Cat Association TICA or Cat Fanciers Association CFA. I truly wish all Ragdoll breeders only sold true Ragdolls signified by the Blue Eye Color, were honest, kept their cattery clean and disease free, and practiced early spay and neuter, AND most of all controlled their behavior in a responsible fashion. This is what you can expect when planning and purchasing from me, www.RagdollsTotallyTerrific.com. Thanks for investigating before you trust any breeder. You take care.
Sincerely, Nilda Tull
Ragdolls Totally Terrific - RTT.
PS: You can Google search and find that I am a responsible person, business owner, inventor and participate in local government. Hopefully you now know and understand that I can be trusted and therefore my cattery Ragdolls Totally Terrific - RTT can be trusted. My picture is also verifiable on Google and both my business websites. Thanks for checking.

Complaint Review ragdollkittens.com
Love Ragdolls, Elegant Ragdolls, Jessica Perry of South Carolina Sold these cats based on 2 breeders selling them for hight amounts when they get them for $250 from people who cage their animals in disease infested cages. The cats I had bought died!!
I regret ever having met this lady..her cats are not tested for Felv/Fiv/Fip, HCM MC/RD. none of her breeding cats are tested. they are also not blood group tested. as I had been told they were.
The female died within days of getting her. I am sickened and disgusted and hurt. The male I got was not fertile and had to be neutered. I am not the only one she has done this with.
BEWARE OF THIS LADY..AND HER CATS! THEY ARE NOT TESTED..ASK FOR PROOF OF HER TESTS ON HER BREEDING PAIRS. SHE RUNS A SCAM. HER CATS DIE OF HCM MALES ARE STERILE.
HAVE HER BREEDING MALE TESTED PRIOR RECEIVING HIM. IT IS THEIR OBLIGATION TO TEST HER BREEDING MALES AND FEMALES AND HERS ARE NOT!!! SHE NEVER OFFERED MY MONEY BACK KNOWING THE FEMALE DIED OF HCM, I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED. THE PERSON BELOW COMMENTING IS JESSICA IT IS NOT WHO SHE IS CLAIMING TO BE.
I HAVE PROOF FROM MY VET OF THE CONDITIONS THESE CATS WERE SENT TO ME. MY VET WAS DISGUSTED! THEY WERE MATTED...AND NOT EVEN A GROOMER THOUGHT THEY COULD GET OUT THE MATS IN THE MALES HAIR, SKITTISH, AND HAD TO GO TO A CAT BEHAVIORIST. MY VET CAN VERIFY EVERYTHING I HAVE SAID BELOW.
I LOST A CAT FROM THIS LADY GOT A SICK STERILE MALE..DON'T BE SUCKERED BY HER LIES. MAKE HER SHOW PROOF OF HER TESTING FOR HCM MC/RD (MAIN COON AND RAGDOLL) PKD FELV/FIVE/FIP AND BLOOD GROUP TEST. ASK FOR HER HCM SCANS AS WELL. AND MAKE HER SHOW PROOF.
DO NOT LET HER LIE TO YOU. ASK FOR DOCUMENTS OF THESE TESTS. VALID TESTS WILL COME FROM UCDAVIS AND OR NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY. I HAVE OTHER PEOPLE WHO CAN VERIFY THIS AS WELL SHE IS NEGLECTING CATS AND SELLING THEM AS SICK.
THEN THEY DIE. Love Ragdolls, Elegant Ragdolls, Jessica Perry of South Carolina IS GETTING PEOPLE TO WRITE THINGS BELOW TO MAKE OTHERS LOOK LIKE LIARS!! HOWEVER I DO HAVE PROOF..AND AN ATTORNEY!!! SELLING MINK CATS AS RARE THEY ARE NOT RARE!!
GET EDUCATED PEOPLE!!! MINKS ARE NOT RARE!!! JESSICA SELLS THEM FOR HIGH DOLLAR AND SHE GETS THEM FROM PEOPLE WHO KEEP THEM IN A SHAK OUTSIDE THEY GET SOLD TO JESSICA FOR $250..AND SHE IN TURNS SELLS THEM FOR WAY MORE. IT'S A FACT MANY MANY PEOPLE CAN VERIFY THIS!!
GET EDUCATED!! MINKS ARE NOT RARE..ASK FOR TESTS AND MAKE HER PROVE IT!!
SHE NEEDS SHUT DOWN FROM EVER BREEDING.. IF YOU WOULD LIKE MORE INFO PLEASE CONTACT ME PRIVATELY.

I had a GREAT EXPERIENCE with Ransdell Ragdolls 14.5 years ago 5 stars!
I will have my daughter post photos of beautiful Misty. She looks as good at 14.5 years as she did at 2 years.
We purchased our Misty, bred by Ransdell Ragdolls over 14 years ago. She is alive, well and was always free of problems. Her sire was Benny, from Italy a magnificent boy who was the top kitten in the cat organization called TICA.
Our daughter came with us who is a Labrador hobbyist for our screening and to ask questions. She asked all the right questions for us as our prior cat did die a terrible death at age 4.5 from cardiomyopathy. He screamed right before dying in the vehicle on the way to the vet and had no symptoms prior. He was a white, barnyard rescue cat. This disease runs in all cats, Ragdolls recently found to have it more then some other breeds.
What you people don't seem to understand is there are tests that are cost effective today that weren't used in the years our kittens were born for their parents. Now there are echoe Doppler clinics at dog & cat shows so the test isn't $1000 anymore. It runs about $225-$275 according to my daughter who echoe Doppler tests all of her Labrador girls.
Having experienced cardiomyopathy, I understand the horrendous loss but it was NOT Randsdell Ragdoll's fault there were no echoe dopplers done in the 1990's and through until about 2008 when available.
We had a wonderful experience with this breeder! Her home was IMMACULATE, cats well cared for and showed at many cat shows winning often, a family hobby they did together. We attended shows where they won time and time for fun.
My wife is deceased 4 years this month. Misty misses her terribly but has acclimated to a one person home and sleeps with me. I'm an 82 year old man now. My wife was younger than me when and we adopted Misty and I will say it was a terrific experience. Do realize there is cardiomyopathy in every breed of cat and every breeder has had the same problems. Not having the testing available or available at a reasonable cost does not make a cattery irresponsible.
Any time we called Jean, she was available and happy to speak with us from day 1. I give her a 5 star rating and don't think some of you understand the jealousy when showing animal and what other breeders will say. Jean could not leave a cat carrier for one second at the Garden in New York City without fear of a theft or poisoning. If you think all the other breeders are peaches and cream, think again. Many have had more cardiomyopathy than Jean ever had. If she knew it was produced, she didn't rebreed those parents. She has morals and ethics.
Just my opinions and strong ones once discussing it with our vet and having our own Misty have the Doppler at a dog show our daughter attended with 2 of her girls. To this day many dog and cat breeders don't test all of the breeding animals and there isn't a blood test to tell if a dog or cat will produce cardiac problems. Make sure you only work with one that in 2015 does when you get a cat or dog.
I hope my words make a difference, if not, I tried to give you the information I know.

Review in Pet Stores category from Columbia, Maryland
I drove 9 hours one way to pick up my Lilac Point Ragdoll. Margery was easy to work with and certainly loves her kitties.
The result is a very well adjusted, well socialized beautiful kitten that holds close to the TICA standard for a ragdoll. No complaints here!
Top breeder, healthy 10+ year old Misty today
I had a wonderful experience with Jean at Randsdell Ragdolls home cattery. We walked into an immaculate home with beautiful cat scratch palm trees everywhere.
She was excellent at explaining everything about the breed and we opted to allow her to choose our kitten. This was 10 years ago in 2004 and all I have to say is good about her. Our Misty is a healthy, gorgeous Ragdoll sired by Silmarilions Manwe Benvolio of Ransdell an Italian import who was showed extensively winning a lot.
Our experience was positive and Jean kept in touch and was always available for questions and concerns we might have. She has moved but we email a photo once a year of Misty.
Bad ragdoll cat breeder selling unhealthy kittens
Jean Ransdell, who lived in NJ at the time, sold me a ragdoll kitten that died due to bad breeding.
August 14, 2008, Wasabi dropped dead of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy at the age of five.
Veterinary examiners gave me and my devastated family the news that my beautiful, little angel died from a heart condition that is most commonly found in large, longhaired cat breeds. Basically explaining to me that it was careless breeding.
This incident has completely ripped my family and my heart out. To make it worse, when my father tried to call Ransdell and explain what happened, she screened her phone calls and completely ignored us in our time of need. We also found she had taken her website down and the rumor is that what happened to Wasabi happened to other cats that she bred.
Wasabi deserved better than to die a painful death, filled with moments of yowling, before he collapsed to the floor, dying with his beautiful blue eyes wide open. Even though it happened in seconds, it must have felt like hours to him.
To add more insult to injury, Wasabi's death could have been prevented with a simple chest X-ray and
medication. Unfortunately information on Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy wasn't included in her
care packet along pages of anti-de-clawing, vitamin and vaccination suggestions.

Nilda, I am so sorry that you and Ragdolls Totally Terrific was the subject of this horrible attack. I have read your homepage and love the pictures and all of your thoroughness in each area of kitten/cat care.
Surely, this person was mistaken as your pictures/stories are living proof of the love that you have for each of your babies. I adopted one of D's Jewels several years ago and loved Chase (her first Ragdoll) dearly. I also have kept up with her page. I haven't had a Ragdoll in quite sometime and hopefully, I will have another one some day.
Take care and don't let mean people steal your joy! Glenda Gardner blessedftw@***.com
