This is a terribly mismanaged facility

AI Highlights
  • - Walk-in pre-op chest X-ray; one tech didn't show.
  • - Desk staff was unsure and kept asking for help.
  • - Called at 11:10 after being told I’d be first at 10:30.

I got there at 9:00 as a walk in for a pre-op chest x-ray. Was told one tech did not show up would arrive at 10:30.

The woman behind the desk did not know what she was doing and had to keep asking for help. Someone else took over and I never saw her again. By then it was 9:30 and I was told I would be the first one at 10:30. I was finally called in at 11:10.

The waiting room was packed, way out to the hall, yet more and mor people kept lining up.

The line never went down. Are they scheduling too many people just for the money?!!

User's recommendation: Stay away from this place!!

Incompetence at its Worst

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Billed full for 3 visits.
  • - No copay; insurance billed, I received a bill.
  • - Blue Cross advised avoiding this imaging provider; switching helped.

Even though I have insurance I have been billed the full AMT the 3 times I've gone. I have had arguments with the staff that are lazy, useless and could care less about their job that I have zero copay and insurance gets billed then I get bill from the insurance.

Spoke to a rep at Blue Cross and they told me to find another imaging company and basically said it's the worst place to go. Straight from my insurance provider.

I listened and am getting better imaging service because of it. Stay away from this place if at all possible!!!

User's recommendation: Never go to a Radnet facility

No development so far it keeps saying they're not responsible for items that they had in their possession and that they lost and someone stole

What happened was that I miss laid my personal property at his facility and I called to me and talk to someone to retrieve it which they did retrieve it in at the time I went to pick it up they had no idea what they did with it now theyre saying theyre not responsible for my property after the manager told me that there was responsible and all they was doing was waiting for the corporate office to give them the go ahead to either replace it or cost of saving for it now and theyre saying its not their responsibility after they were responsible and now someone stole it or they lost it in their possession
Loss:
$700

  • - Arrived for an MRI with requested documents; documents could not be found and professionalism/dress code concerns were noted.

We arrived for mri appointment. We had made a special trip with requested documents.

We arrived and they could not be found. When asked where they were. The gentleman at the front could have cared less and didnt show any energy to search for them.

More professionalism and better dress code needed. Please use this information for better training purposes.(I have 35 years experience in medical administration.

Price & Service

AI Highlights
  • - MRI by Borg & Ide in Jan 2021, 45 min with a trainee.
  • - Ins. charged $1,650 for a negative result and tinnitus worsened after testing.
Original review updated Mar 18, 2021

Choosing my words CAREFULLY- I had an MRI performed by Borg &Ide in Jan. 2021.

A 45 minute test in which a trainee was involved and they charged my insurance company $1,650. Ear protection was minimal (sufficient???). Immediately after the testing, my Tinnitus worsened and stayed that way. Although we have excellent insurance, the price for a test, it turns out I did not require because the result was negative, was very high (excessive ???).

Although all necessary information was provided at time of service, RadNet continued to contact me for information that had already been provided. I so wish I never went to their office.

Preferred solution: Full refund

User's recommendation: Beware and Know Exactly what they will do and their charges.
