I am on my 3rd Uniden R3 the first did not work at all out of the box the second lost sound after 2 weeks of using on weekends only the 3rd also lost sound I got it on Feb ,9 and I have used it aprox 6 times then it started with what sounded like a person with a cold then the sound just quit and now Uniden wants me to pay for shipping charges not so done with Uniden

I purchased a Uniden R3 couple of months back because of its great reviews. But the device failed and Uniden is asking me to pay the shipping cost.
I don’t understand why should the customer pay if their device failed within warranty time. I’m really pissed off with this kind of service for 400$ item!!
