Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund.

They play around with your money when you cancel. Thats called misappropriating funds and its illegal.

My wife and I were planning on going to Quinns in January 2024, but had to cancel. They told me that they would just refund the card that I used to make the reservation. However, I thought that card had been compromised recently and I had to cancel it and have a new card sent to me. They have a policy (which is ridiculous) that states that if you have a card that had fraud on it, they cant refund to that card because of the fraud issue.

They issue a check instead, which takes forever to get to you. As it turned out, it was a different card I had that had fraud on it, not the one I used to make this reservation. when I realized this I had called back and said that it was a different card that had the fraud issue, not the one I used to make this reservation. I was told that they had already sent over the refund request to accounting.

Its amazing to me how quickly everything is sent over to accounting, but takes so long to get the refund back. These places have no trouble taking your money when you make the reservation, but they take forever to get it back to you when you need it. Christmas is coming up and Im in a dire situation. My wife and I are unable to go to the resort in January and I had to make the sad decision to cancel.

I feel bad about that because I love the resort, but the way they handle money is completely unethical and wrong. I just want my money back. Now I have to wait for God knows how long to get my deposit back. these hotels and resorts should not require a deposit when the reservation is made.

I understand that this is something they need to do because people cancel, but it makes the rest of us who are struggling inconvenienced when things like this happen. Its not fair that I have to wait so long to get my money back. Its my money and theyre playing around with it. Thats illegal!

Im sure other people feel the same way and Ive been through the same situation with this resort and other resorts as well. The screen like theyre the CIA and you cant talk to the accounting department to get these types of matters resolved. This is completely unacceptable and Im pissed! And I have every right to be!

I want my money back and I dont wanna hear any excuses or listen to someone drown on about their stupid policies. I think the owner should message me and send me my refund ASAP. They could either put it on my card, or send me a check today. I think thats fair.

Some of us, if not most of us, are struggling financially and these big businesses are raking in money while screwing everyone else over in the process. Very unfair.
