They sent me a ton of paperwork that I had to look over and approve the I had to get the payoff amount from my existing mortgage company that I thought was odd since I was assured they'd do all the work. The process takes about 2 weeks and we set up a day to have an agent come and sign the paperwork. All of a sudden a mysterious set of charges appear on the final paperwork printout for home insurance and the escarow for a years worth of taxes....

I recently refinanced my mortgage with Quicken loans and it was one of the WORST experiences of my life! I will adamantly tell anyone looking to refi or purchase a home NOT to go with Quicken. They are so big that it became abundantly clear that I was not even a blip on their radar and if they lost my business, it was no big deal whatsoever. Unfortunately, I was too far along in the process by the time I realized this, so I stuck with them. The...

The whole process with Quicken Loans has been painful and something we will soon not forget. In the beginning things were going smooth but that was short lived. A week into the process we provided countless documents, many the same, to them as they came in. We didn't have a "To Do List" around for more than a few hours. Our first red flag should have been the requests to keep giving more and more documents all relating to the same thing over...

There is nothing QUICK about Quicken Loans. The mortgage refinance process with Quicken Loan was the absolute worst experience I have had with ANY business, bar none. First, you speak with someone who obviously is there to “*** out” potential clients who might not qualify. Then you get an actual loan officer who asks you the very same questions you were just asked. The loan officer makes lots of promises about timeliness and “award winning”...

I did a VA cashout refinance loan with quicken (one of the few banks/places that do it).Everything went smooth as ***, the paperwork went extremely quick, I had everything, and there were no issues YET. One month in and about to close the appraiser (their appraiser) FINALLY comes and does his thing. He was extremely nice and I thought it went smooth again. But the home was at least undervalued by 25k. Quicken wanted to give me 110 when I owe 104...

Anonymous We just had the EXACT same experience with them. Did you get your $500 "good faith" deposit back? My husband just unleashed a maelstrom (tempered with reason) of arguments ove...

We refinanced using Quicken Loans several Years ago and were very happy with the results. So as the interest rates dropped again we thought we'd check them out again. When we first spoke to an Agent we were very clear that we would only be interested in refinancing if we could save money on payments each month. We were not interested in borrowing any additional money or bringing any money to the table. She was seemingly very helpful and things...

Rocket mortgage and quicken loans were a complete waste of my time. They would not provide interest rate estimates for a refinance without running a credit check. Then when all was said and done they came back with a rate of 3.99% (no points) when I am already dealing with multiple banks offering rates around 3.5%. Not even close to being competitive! Don't waste your time with them like I did. Granted there are multiple factors that determine...

Working with Quicken Loans was the most annoying process I've ever experienced. They seemed completely out of touch with how things get done. They kept asking me for certain documents from the IRS and the university which either didn't exist or for which I had already given them written authorization to request. Furthermore, I never talked to the same person. A dozen different people called me about the same thing and they called at all hours...

We trusted the paperwork (about 1 and 1/2" thick) and told to just sign here and here, and initial here.We later found numerous numerical mistakes, and when we tried to report them, we were told,"you signed it. Too bad, so sad. Now I wonder if I should have retained legal representation to read the book before we ever signed anything, Maybe I could have rolled the cost into the re-fi. Be warned. Don't just assume the paperwork is correct before...
