I contacted Quicken Loans because I wanted to be pre approved before house hunting. You would think that would be the smart thing to do. I was put in contact with a mortgage banker. He was really nice at first. He helped me through the process quickly and got my pre approval set up. One month later, I found the house I wanted. All discussions with this mortgage banker included a conversation about my closing costs. I was concerned about how much...

Was told by their self proclaimed WA expert that financing a mobile home would not be a problem even though they didn't do it directly; they had associates that would. Got pre-approved, found a great 40 acre property with a double wide and then contacted them. Told, "we don't do mobile homes" which I replied, "I know; what about the associates you told me about"? I was ignored. I was lied to and lost a great property due to it. My advise? ...

Ok ready to do the loan original guy she's been working with no longer work for quicken loans. New guy tell her she's only approved for $150,000.00. WOW what a disappointment kdmeterreader@yahoo.com

The worst experience.Wound up costing us thousands of dollars in lost credit from seller because of delays by Quicken. Totally their fault. They admitted it!! Do not use them. Go local. We spoke to 10+ different people during the course of the loan application. Frustrating doesn't cover it. We are so angry! Absolutely horrible. We were lied to, given the run around, no one knew what they were doing, kept asking for the same documents over and...

My experience with quicken loans has been one of the worst experiences ever. I've heard bad things about them and that I should have gone with another company but I didn't listen. From day one it was awful. Would have to send the same documents over and over again, would nitpick over slightest little thing but when they misspelled my name and the address of the home I was buying that was different it didn't matter. Three days before closing I...

Awful!I was told I was eligible for a loan. Two weeks before closing, after paying for inspection, attorney fees, title search, quicken learned correct tax amount.(why this was not researched earlier I don't know) .. My debt to income ratio would not allow completion of loan. I asked for a letter of declination explaining precisely what had happened. I needed the letter in order to get my 10,000 deposit returned from seller. The letter I...

Gave quicken loans(Alisha Penn) credit card info for their fees to start process. I pulled money out of my 401k( 6 month penalty for doing so. So I'm losing out on my company's profit sharing plan this year. August 2016- February 2017. Roughly about 5000.00 dollars). Then she (Alisha) calls and says she made a mistake and the loan is not approved. She cost me 5000 bucks. I can't return it to my 401k. Alisha can't even say she's sorry. What a...

They assume that you are a liar and you have to provide documents for every little detail.Visit you local bank and support your local economy and not these idiots. There are constant delays and intermanable phone calls which become intrusive and very annoying. Do not believe their ads and hype. You can do much better. For example I have a line of credit with zero balance and they refused to believe me after a conference call with the lender. A...

QUICKEN LOANS are SHADY....DISHONEST….AND DECEITFUL. I feel they don’t know what they are doing, nor do they have answers for you. I am getting ready to close on a purchase of a home, and based on the conversation and paperwork from the loan officer I was working with, the DOLLAR AMOUNT WE DISCUSSED AND THAT WERE NOTED IN THE APPROVAL LETTER AND RE-DISCLOSURE PACKAGE WERE ALL FALSE…. she even admitted that the documents were not worth the ink...

After being denied by lender #1 we turned to Quicken Loans (our #2). We explained that we were denied by #1 and why. Loan officer assured us it was not an issue with QL. His supervisor called and told us it was no issue. We gave them credit card for $500 appraisal, issued thousands of dollars in checks to Title company and Seller. Loan officer called to congratulate us on our new home and implied it was clear sailing from there on. His...
