They'll call your work and embarrass the life out of you.
- - The calls to my workplace continue despite my request to stop.
- - I may file a BBB/CFPB complaint and I emailed the South Carolina corporate office.
So I am about to go into chapter 7 after a very hard year. I wrote a letter to them stating not to call my father or my work place.
It would appear they are still calling my work place which has caused one of my coworkers great concern. She thought it was an ex girlfriend stalking me and I had to explain to the coworker what was going on with my financial woes to my great chagrin and embarrassment. Watch out, if you get behind with them, you will be having awkward conversations like that with family and or coworkers.
So I guess I'll be sending them another letter or maybe I should just go ahead and go for the jugular here and complain to the BBB and cfpb. *update* I sent an email to their corporate office in South Carolina (they are part of the Southern Management Corporation)
