Absolutely worst company I have ever dealt with. They tried to hide the fact that they are a broker to get me to sign then booked the most unprofessional movers who showed up late in a rented budget truck and were extremely rude besides.

They refused to give me paperwork to sign stating final costs, intentionally kept switching languages hoping I wouldnt understand, wanted to load my things then quote me a price, no one was available on their emergency contact when I needed help, couldnt tell me an estimated delivery date, couldnt tell me where my things would be stored in the meantime. Needless to say I didnt let them take my items. They ruined my move and even though Ive already paid over $600 as a deposit all they offered to refund me is $133 and they want me to sign a settlement document besides. This company is a joke.

I would never recommend doing business with them.

They deserve zero stars. Here are some things I was told:

We have a truck already scheduled going that way with room because someone canceled last minute

Dont answer phone calls from any other moving companies

Dont go and look us up online

Another moving company is trying to ruin us and is posting the bad reviews

No we dont know who your mover will be we are still scheduling it

What youre paying is a deposit for the move, not a one time broker fee for arranging it

Lets load everything on the truck then Ill give you a price

I have no idea when a delivery date will be or where your things will be stored, someone will contact you

Worst company Ive ever dealt with, do not book your move with these people.

I wish to alert the public of these scamming companies who conduct shady business transactions. Unfortunately, I became a victim, along with countless other customers.

I retained Quality Moving Experts (209 Dunlawton Ave, Port Orange, FL 32127, Phone (305) 687-**** DOT# 353**** MC# 117****) to help me move my belongings from Jersey City, NJ to Kansas City, MO; they contacted me and alleged that I can piggy-back off of a military delivery and assured me that my personal items would safely be picked up from Jersey City, NJ and delivered to Kansas City, MO. They retained AMB Moving & Storage (42 Garfield Ave, Garfield, NJ 07026, US Dot 282**** MC 139****) who charged me 60% more than what Quality Moving Experts had documented in the contract that I signed and who is currently holding my items hostage unless I pay them more money. Since then, I have spoken with the Kansas City Police Dept who has advised that I file a Stolen Items report if my belongings are not delivered with 24 hrs.

I can't believe that I was scammed and I have already filed a report with the Federal Trade Commission so others are not scammed in the future. The fact that AMB Moving & Storage only accepts cash and didn't disclose this to me until they loaded up the truck with my belongings speaks volumes about their business model and transactions.
