Quality Alterations by Nadya: Rude Scammers

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My wife and I purchased a new dress and took it to Quality Alterations by Nadya in Scottsdale, Arizona. We were attended to by Nadya (the owner) who pinned the dress and she collected the agreed $120. Three days later (the day the dress was due to be picked up), Nadya calls me in the morning and says they have not started work on the dress yet, however, they missed quoting a hem and it would be an additional $100. Nadya was very rude on the phone and refused to take any responsibility for the events that had taken place. I ended up having my wife pick up the dress with no alterations and get a refund. My wife took the dress to a competitor of Quality Alterations by Nadya and got a quote to tailor the entire dress for only $54. Quality Alterations by Nadya is not only rude to deal with but also an overpriced scam operation. Nadya (Nadezhnda Yanovskaya) and her partner Michael L Serheev run a terrible business unlike any other I have ever seen.
