Cost me money and my driving record from their deceit.

I bought a Jeep from this company. When I told the sales guy, Matt that I had to transfer the registration, he said he would take care of it. I let him know I also had to renew. He said he would take care of that as well. Before I left, he assured me at least three times (from my nagging) that it was all set. I returned the next day to pick up the "registration" on his desk and threw it into my glove compartment. Four months later, I was pulled over. I was thinking it was my inspection sticker because I live in RI and bought the car in CT where none is needed. The officer told me the reason was because my registration was expired. I immediately grabbed the registration to prove that indeed, I was registered, but I must have looked over getting the stickers in the mail and forgot about it. He looked at it and handed it back to me and said "Look at the date". I was SHOCKED to see that it was expired. They never renewed it. I got a ticket and a virtual court date (because of COVID). Thankfully he did not tow the Jeep which he told me he could have done. When I got home, I checked on my Jeep's receipt and they absolutely charged me for it. I called them very upset and they offered to pay 1/2 of the ticket. Really? Gee guys, you made thousands of dollars off me, this was YOUR mistake and you want to give me half for the ticket? How utterly gauche. No thank you. Keep your $37.50. So after all was said and done, I ended up having to pay for a $75 ticket, another $158 for the registration, a $30 court fee, and now have a 3 year blemish on my 15 year clean driving record. Thanks a lot Matt and gang.Like Well, four months later,

User's recommendation: That "car salesman" stigma still reigns.

Nothing. Damage done. I can not get back my clean driving record and they already offered me a whole 37.50 which was too insulting to accept.

Poor Design & who knows what else

Update by user Nov 23, 2019

As a result of poor visibility, I’ve had several close calls & 1 collision. While at the Body Shop for repairs the staff discovered several electrical issues which they fixed at no charge!

Needless to say I’m even more Leary to drive this vehicle now.

No one has contacted me from Jeep. I did discuss my issues with the dealership but was told not much they can do!

I purchased a new 1018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited about since months ago. I’ve never owned a Jeep before. I test drove it & it seemed ok! It was a leftover so price was reasonable. However, over the last 6 months I’ve had issues with visibility on both sides. The pillars & mirrors are too wide. I’m a petite female & I can’t see past the pillar & mirror especially on the driver side. I’ve had several close calls. However,3 days ago my worst fear became reality. As I was making a left turn, I collided with a vehicle I didn’t see due to the vehicle design! These vehicles are dangerous! I would never recommend buying a Grand Cherokee!
