Mold Inspector Fantastic--Home Repair "Handyman" Horrible

The company owner is fantastic. The mold inspector, Patrick, is TOP SHELF. But you do NOT want them to send their "handyman" Steve to do any repair work if needed. He is unreliable, sloppy and extremely rude when you call him on it. He did a horrible job, left two huge plywood boards outside where it was rained on for 2 weeks, didn't finish the job and left. When I finally got him to come back to finish, he sawed the plywood on a ledge (where he also left a blade on the first trip that rusted onto the finish); knocked *** in the drywall where he put in the door frame (which was poor quality wood), and had the nerve to draw his breath at me when I pointed out the mess he made. Unreliable, RUDE, and sloppy beyond beyond belief. You should see the concrete job he did outside where *** in the brick was the source of the mold---a first grader could do a better job. So sad because Patrick was so great, then they sent that *** over for minor repair work that I will have to pay a real handyman to redo. I knew I should have called my guy in, but the owner talked me into this Steve fool, so now I'll have to get my guy to fix it properly. Waste of time, money and certainly negatives emotion.

Pros:
  • Mold inspector patrick is great
Cons:
  • Handyman steve is horrendous

Preferred solution: Price reduction

User's recommendation: If any work needs to be done beyond the mold inspection/treatment, hire your own contractor/handyman. The guy they currently use, Steve, is unreliable, sloppy, and has a bad attitude. Steve is downright rude like it's the customer's fault he did a *** job.

mold testing. Pure Air came out on 8/6/2020, took an air quality test for mold and stated they will have the results in 2 to 3 days. I contacted them 8/11 and 8/13 and did not get an answer. I sent an email on 8/10 and left a voice mail. They return my call and stated that some will get back wit me. As of this date I have not go the results. I paid a $95 fee and haven't received any results. Mae L Reid 1831 J Julian Lane E Charlotte, NC 28208
