I would advise against using Public Storage!

We lost contact with our Aunt, Uncle and Cousin as soon as C- Vid hit. My Uncle is soon to be 90 my Aunt is 86, and my cousin is 51 whom is special needs just vanished.

Their home was vacant. On September 17, we found them living in a hotel thankfully, because that was their last night and they would be sleeping on the streets. We learned that in these last two years that they have paid well over $16,000 to Public Storage

$420 for a 10x20 as well as $256 for a 10x10 just to keep what little they had left that the neighbors didnt take upon eviction because their contents were removed by the mortgage lender and placed on the front lawn. Public storage took advantage of my cousin because he has special needs and continuously raised the rent.

They collect Social security and would pay for the storage, pay for as many nights as they could at motels but most were spent sleeping in a car on the streets eating out of can goods and other terrible things in terrible place. We got them out of there and in a temporary place for now.

Today we went to gather their belongs, and was told we could NOT remove their belongings until we paid for Novembers rent. Although they wouldnt be keeping their belongings any longer at The location on Birnham woods. The $678 must be paid.

We were threatened to be thrown off the property by the attendant. We contacted HR explained the situation, He said he couldnt help it, the bill must be paid and then proceeded to give us the number to the district manager. I called the district manager Kevin @ 713-621-**** several times leaving several messages literally begging him to call me to please waive this one day because they really needed this money for a home. You would think that After 2 years pay such an extensive amount, and never being late, surviving homelessness, A man that worked until he was 84 and fought for our country that someone somewhere would have a heart, but not Public storage.

All they did was take full advantage of their disabilities, their situation and their finances.

On their website it shows:

10x20 for 202.00

10x10 for 102.00

So the math is right here.

My sister and I have been doing everything we can. They are in bad health so thats first. Very malnourished. Theyre in Crockett where my sister lives staying in a small RV at the lake.

I drive up daily to help with their care.

Most of the belongings in storage are simply things of relatives past , but my aunts only closet thing she has to them. If any one has any beds that you arent using or are cheap that would be wonderful.

Me and my kids in - degree weather are stuck in this storage unit and nobody will answer with toddlers there are over several customer service numbers! This place needs to be closed down we have to call the police! Will keep you updated

Cant get someone on the phone to help!! Toll free or local property manager. I just opened up the account today! A lady is here with a huge cart of belongings and she has other cart on the third floor where here unit is located. She now is stuck in the lobby! The local manager here said to come back at 6 AM!! WrF!!! Soooo unexceptionable

Price Gauging

Company is Public Storage. Needed a storage unit and was quoted $106 price per month for rental. Tried to pay online and it would not allow me to pay. Called the company and they said it had changed to $133 per month for that unit. I was told that because it was one of the last ones of its type the price changed. This was in a time span of 30 minutes. This is price gauging. I spoke to the local manager who said the company has a habit of doing this to customers nationally. They change the quoted price. THIS IS A GREEDY AND DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICE and they should be ashamed of this.

I get an call saying we charging you a late fee, I say to the young lady that gave me the wrong number first, where is the email at, the unit I got on an holiday deal for $35 and I told them to take the insurance off , its still on there, the trash bin lock up, so Public Storage need to do an upgrade, I call the supervisor no one call me back, not good, next time I am using the guy! See the insurance on there.

I move out the storage in December and keep being charged this is so sad cause I keep calling and sending them emails they said that they closed it out but as of today I keep getting charged

Charged my storage unit twice called every number no one answers I physically had to go to public storage no one was working in office doors locked a waste of my time!! Also the virtual chat on the website is useless when you are charged twice!! Really stupid company! I wanted to leave a review on their website but no way to write a review all the reviews are fake!! My unit was at Hagen ranch road in Delray Beach I cleaned out my storage and went to CUBESMART at least they pick up the phone and you talk to a human

I'm locked out of my storage unit for being on premises for too long this was right before 11:00 a.m. Tuesday on a business day.

On my second encounter with the assistant property manager on site she again aggressively contacted me and told me that I was not allowed to put a screen up so people can't stare at my my tools my equipment my personal belongings and break in and steal it I've also noticed that there is been companies with storage units who actually do stuff like that. I'm now sitting outside this place trying to get into my unit and she says that I come here too Not much.

You're here everyday I'm like yeah and. I said I have a full-time job I come straight to storage after I get off work I only have like a couple hours I'm trying to get my life organized I've got more than one unit

I vacated the property, emptied out my storage unit, took the lock and followed all move out process. It is showing on the app for iPhone I have a balance past due of $146.20 which is not accurate- I find this public storage unit on McDowell road in Scottsdale to be an unethical & a shady business because they try to charge you when you moved out prior to due date which was 12/1/2023. Very disappointed and when you call the public storage management on Pima road you have to leave a message Angry

Storage payment

I didn't occupy the space for the entire month and I can't get any of my money back. After my storage was broken into and things not recovered after they caught they guy. The insurance did not cover everything.
