Hi,

We have been paying for a unit for a couple of months already, when Sunday we showed up to bring a bunch of stuff to only then see that the floors in front of our unit were being painted.

This said, we drove an hour to get there since we live in the east end of the city. No communication was sent out to notify us of this event.

They lent us a temporary unit for the inconvenience, however, refuse to let our insurance cover this unit, or give us the key.

They also expected us to return yesterday, another hour drive there then back, during a work day, to transfer our stuff into our unit. We asked to extend our 50% rebate one more month for this huge inconvenience, yet they are only willing to give us 30$ off for the end of June. That does not even cover an hour of my salary that would be lost.

We wrote back yesterday asking for a written confirmation of this $30 rebate before we come this Saturday to move our things, but have yet to hear from anyone.

We spoke to Boris (Côte de Liesse, Montreal location) both times and he was very rude, talking over us when we spoke and has zero customer service skills.

Furthermore, we are very dissatisfied with the lack of service we are getting from Public Storage and we hope someone will take their customer feedback seriously and deal with this employee. I have read the Google reviews and we are not the first to mention this employee by name.

I was told that the units where clean but rats live in there everything I own is gone ruined by rats and *** and them eating and *** on all my belongings

Rented locker form them, paid 6 months in advance, bought lock from there only to come back and see all my possessions were stolen. The managers laugh at me in my face.

They claim they do not have a master key. They have a master key and go through all the lockers. will not provide me with the logs to see when the locker was accessed.

Weeks go by and I still don't have an answer. When I contact head office they forward me back to the district manager.

Terminal manager claimed that a past employee had broken into some lockers a while back but will not follow up on it.

They laugh at me and will not give me an answer.
