So tired of companies going all ai and no customer interaction

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - The company answers only with AI, with no live person.
  • - Cellphone texting is required for signup and responses.
  • - No live support delays getting help.

company only seems to respond through ai not a real person. companies trying to force you to use cell phone and texting to sign up, get responses etc.

without alternatives, like a land line phone or confirmation number sent through phone. with a live person i can get the right help when needed and not spend days or weeks typing something in that may not even get read by the fake person. alto changed our accounts to public witch could be fine, but put limits on how to sign up, or sign in, thus not being able to access accounts for over a month.

how can i trust a company that i cannot get help from in person. I have stopped buying and using companies based upon one thing, I cannot talk to a live person.

User's recommendation: If your old school, stick to the older companies that believe in customer interaction without pawning you off to a program

If “YOU’RE” old school, use a traditional service that was in place 25 years ago. Their site stresses being an app that is AI-driven offering commission-free transactions.

If you want live-person help, make an appointment for phone or in-person assistance.

One where the rep is paid off the fees you would pay that you are not using NEW-SCHOOL tech. It sounds like you want the ease and access of tech until you need help.

Locked out of account, can't get a resolution

AI Highlights
  • - I changed my phone number, but codes go to the old number.
  • - Login requires email, password, facial recognition, and a code to the old number.

I recently changed my phone number and when attempted to notify public.com they sent a verification code to my old phone number. If that makes sense to anyone I'd like to hear it.

On the login page they ask for my email and password. That should be sufficient, right.

But they also do facial recognition, no problem, that should be enough. But now they also want, you guessed it, a verification code that they have sent to my old phone number!

I give public.com one star for sheer stupidity.

User's recommendation: Use some other broker.

THEY STOLE MONEY FROM ME.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - They won't transfer my account to another broker.
  • - They charge fees and delay transfers.
  • - They have no phone number or address.
  • - I fear they stole money.

THEY WILL NOT TRANSFER MY ACCOUNT TO ANOTHER BR0KERAGE COMPANY. THEY KEEP CHARGING ME FEES.

VERY NASTY. THEY HAVE NO PHONE NO ADDRESS. I CANNOT MAIL THEM ANYTHING REGISTERED? I SENT THEM MONEY AND CONFIDENTIAL DOCUMENTS.

THEY SAID THEY DID NOT RECEIVE THE DOCUMENTS? THEY KEEP ASKING ME FOR M9RE AND MORE AND MORE. THEY SAID THEY ARE ALLOWED TO DELAY A TRANSFER AND CAN ASK FOR MORE AND MORE. THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MONEY I LOSE BY THEM NOT TRANSFERRING MY ACCOUNT.

THEY SOUND LIKE CROOKS.

IT THINK THEY STOLE MY ACCOUNT MONEY. I SENT DOCUMENTS TO THEM THROUGH OTHER COMPANIES NOW.
