PBS stations are now kissing up to the Peoples Republic of China while slamming American Republican politicians. "The beauty of China vs. the curse of Trump" is basically the idea...check your schedule. I am through with them, forever, after watching since...1967.

Rick Steves Programming Is Terrible
Why is this guy even on the air? Who cares hat he thinks? Boring older guy who seems to be showing all the tourist trap places. Watch Raw Travel instead. Rick Steves program shorts also interfere with the show I was watching on PBS. I want more of that show and zero Rick Steves whom I tune out every time he appears. The shows are boring too. every time he appears.

Rick Steves Travel Show Stinks
One old white guy's opinion and not representative of the places he goes. The shorts he does on PBS cuts into the much better programming I am paying to see on PBS. Rick Steves shows are super dull. They are inaccurate. They are not worth watching. Makes you wonder if the guy isn't getting paid by the places he shows on the program. I would not take any Rick Steves tours either. PBS should eliminate them. Put back the time for the regular programs that Steves bad shows cut into. watching.

Good show but Hari Sreenavasan needs to stop looking away interviewing people. He looks bored, distracted or uninterested making me turn the channel.

Ruins the interview when he does that. Rude and arrogant not to look at the person you are interviewing.
If he has a problem looking at the subject, he should be retrained or replaced. Learn from Michelle Martin, his colleague there, how to interview professionally.

Get Rick Steves Off The Air
The shows I want to watch are being cut short so this clown can come on and tell us his version of how Europe is. It is different to each person. He is also very dull. Remove him and put more of the show I tuned into back on the air, please, or no more donations to PBS. His regular shows are the equivalent of a flyover state, I turn it off immediately to watch something else.

Rick Steves Europe Show Stinks
Boring, boring, boring, inaccurate, and does not show the real Europe just his perception of it. Do not watch his program. PBS should drop it.

Program Is Very Boring, Unrealistic
Would not recommend watching this. Basic information and video, can be sources online and other places. Host is monotone, lame. PBS needs a show like Raw Travel or other exciting ones like that that spice it up with a younger energetic host with better voice. People are not traveling now anyways so PBS should be putting on relevant interesting programs and not this one. Boring.
User's recommendation: Watch other relevant travel shows that are realistic and exciting, not Rick Steves boring ones.

Rick Steves Travel Shows Are A Waste Of Time
Just about everything he talks about and shows is basic and can easily be accessed elsewhere. You can find it all online so why bother having a show like this? The host is also boring with basic information only, made for television and not realistic. What else is special about the place? Why else should someone go there? Tell us something we don't already know or can find out online. Do it in an interesting way without the monotone voice. This program needs a younger more energetic host with more spice to the show, something like what Raw Travel does. Besides, people are not traveling these days so PBS should air different shows that are relevant to the times. Other than that, PBS does a good job. But please, no more Rick Steves boring, dull, lame, monotone travel programs!

Those little vignettes at the end of PBS programs are especially a nuisance because it replaces part of the program I tuned into see with worthless Rick Steves opinions about what to do when traveling. Who cares what he thinks? I'd rather look it up online and decide for myself.
