Water resistant speakers

You advertise that the speakers are water-resistant and waterproof, but they harden up after water gets on them. I have bought 3 sets of the 6.5 speakers, 8MR500CF-N-DY-4.
I bought 3 boxes of 2. I can't keep buying these speakers; they work, but once water hits them, they harden up.
How can we rectify this situation? I bought 2 sets of 3 boxes from one of your authorized dealers, Kris Window Tint in New Castle, Delaware.
