Devastated
I ordered a dark brown, Selena Gomez style wavy wig. I received a rats nest looking thing, nowhere near the length it was supposed to be, and it's a light brownish/red colour.
I guess I will try to salvage it but please don't make the same mistake I did and waste your money on these... things. I'm out $300 now. I bought it under the guise that I would be getting something that was at least decent quality and I was so, so wrong.
I have a synthetic wig that I bought very cheaply that it a thousand times better than this monstrosity.
Guess I should have done more research on the company as it appears I'm not the only person who has been basically scammed by this company. I am absolutely heart broken now.

Terrible company to try to deal with
Hair piece was totally un suitable colour length and style wrong not hair piece i ordered have sent company eight emails they wont give me a refund neither will they give me an address to send hair piece back to. Want now to charge me 20% for their handling.
This company is torally dishonest.
Think they can rip off honest people. Should not be allowed to sell on the internet

The Style of Wig that I ordered was not the one that I Received .and the Colour that I choose was Ash Blonde.Well I Got a orange Red colour.As soon as I opened the parcel I knew straight away something was not right.I emailed Prowigs and asked for their return address and have still not got it .The Person I dealt with is a man Called Stephen Karl.I ended finding a lady who just lives about 10 K from me and as soon as i showed her the wig that prowigs sent me, she said let me Guess Prowigs,and she said that she has had a lot of customers with the same story. DO NOT DEAL WITH PROWIGS, Janie

The Web site is Prowigsau.com,There is no return address or contact phone number for them,This is My update,I went to my credit card company and told them my story and they did a charge back on my credit card for the full amount. Then after that was done guess what , I received a Email from Stephen Karl and he wanted me to send the wig back to him and he gave me the address in china to send it to.So I sent him a Email saying to him ,you provide me with a parcel that has your address on it and you pay for the postage and I will gladly return the wig to you.I have not herd from him or received any thing from him. Buyers BEWARE
When we received a wig that was ordered in a specific colour ,it arrived in a completely different colour /NOT AS ORDERED --was told to return it and a refund would be recieved .NO REFUND /on contact ,the company said they have NOT recieved it .After many correspondence -they said they still didnt have the returned wig .As my wife is unwell ,I ordered another wig to make her feel better --this second wig was a very small size and didnt fit ( most likely a wig they couldnt sell to anyone else ) this was returned TOO with an order for a larger size --after many weeks waiting /The company denieghs recieving the 2nd wig that we returned --therefore I have paid for 2 unsatisfactory wigs and have Nothing --surely the postal service would not loose 2 wigs from one person to the same company --NOT possible ---PROWIGS is NOT a reliable company to deal with --DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY ( also they do NOT have a phone contact ,so CANT talk to them ---------------I have since bought a wig from an australian company and the the service from them is outstanding

Dreadful quality - looked ok when arrived - eventually!!
I asked if the human hair could be coloured. this was a condition of purchase. I was told yes. The wigs took a long time to get here .
Well to cut along story short - the hair fell out, the colour did not take consistently and it was impossible to reset the curl, the elastic in the scrunchie stretched right out.
Waste of money. Offerred a lousy $20 refund from $123.00 told them to stick it where the sun dont shine.
I usually read reviews, but this one time I did not....never again. Avoid this company.
Feeling ripped off and ignored
I ordered a dark curly wig made of human hair for £150 off Prowigs. 2 months later the seam down the center has hair falling out of it.
after owning many wigs i know that this is not my fault. I have tryed to contact them on 4 seperate occassions, with no reply at all. I am going to keep going until i am satisfied. so that you know i am a transvestite and dont appreciate people trying to take advantage of that fact.
I think they thought they could fob me off and i wouldnt complain. How wrong are they!
Seriously though-dont order a *** thing off them. Pro wigs,avoid like the plague.

This is the final one. Prowigs very helpful customer service assistant (hear the sarcasm in my tone) told me I would get a full refund if I sent the wig back.
Living in England this would mean I would have to pay at least £60more for Chinese shipping costs. Im not going to put more money on top of badly spent money. Look folks, these Chinese companies seriously need a kick in the ***. They take advantage of every little thing they can.
Our (us and uk) laws are not the same. Take a leaf out of my book darlings and boycott ALL Chinese products. They are all a complete rip off. EVERYONE that has put a wig complaint on this site is in regards to a Chinese company.
Wedding dresses, earrings, tights. And its all badly made garbage. Boycott all Chinese products until the law changes. Go buy your wig locally at a local store.
I did and was very happy with the one I got in the end. But I had to buy one off prowigs to see how bad service could actually be.

After nearly 3 months this company is still messing me around. They have just told me I will get a full refund if the wig is unworn and tagged( I told them from the word go it had been worn and fell apart in just a few weeks).
Its like talking to a six year old child that just wants to mess you around for the sheer *** of it. Please save your self the pain I have had and go into your local wig store. Don't be shy they WANT the custom and you want a decent wig. Its companies like this that take advantage of your transgendered state of mind.
I have never felt this *** or belittled in my entire life. I was told they go to other websites, take copies of the photos that are on there and then make bad copies to sell to us-that are made for pennies. And they want me to pay to ship it back to them (in English pounds about £60). After service this bad no f way.
I've paid too much already. 3 months of being messed around, £150 and having to talk to someone every single day that would test the patience of a saint.
But I WILL carry on like a pit bull that wants a bone! I wont give up!
Its 20 emails later. The customer service rep is doing her best to be as obstinate and un helpful as possible.
Ive asked them for a refund more than once and just get ignored and get some really banal suggestions as to what they can do to fix it.
Save yourself this pain and hassle and don't order anything from them. You may as well just set fire to your money.
Just to let you know,they finally replied and are giving me the absolute run around. Ive sent them pictures.
The wig is visibly degraded and they told me to comb it. I have just had to prompt them for a refund. There is a huge hole in the wig where the hair has fallen out-and they tell me to comb it.
£150 to lose 2 months of your life in a dispute over a bad wig. Its hard to be a woman.
