Provo Craft and Cricut can go pound sand!!!!

Absolutely had it with Provo Craft and Cricut Design Space software. After being a Cricut user and supporter for almost 20 years I can no longer use my machine because I am temporarily using a computer that is running Windows 8.1.

Cricut pushes it's updates and doesn't even give users the option to continue using an older version of its software. This is absolute bull!!

Then tech support sends me a $25 promo code for my "inconvenience." GREAT!! A Promo code for something that I can't even use, that'll surely help me out!!!

Design Space Software from CRICUT is crap.

I have tried so many times with Cricut Support to get THEIR software to work, I have given up. They will always blame you or something on your end.

You can spend hours on the phone and still no fixes and they do not care to fix it either. NEW BUYERS BEWARE!! You have to pay every month to save all the files you want. Cricut splashes pop up ads all over the design software to get you to buy MORE of their overpriced CRAP.

They control your machine, they can turn it of, known as BRICKING anytime they want. If you sell it, they can BRICK it. Why? Because they want the next SUCKER to buy into their scam.

IT is a scam. Their customer support is a scam, techs have no idea how to fix the *** software. Go look for lawsuits involving Cricut/Provo Craft.

I have thousands invested and I just threw it all in the dumpster. I'm switching to another vendor.

Searching for and old product that has been discontinued

I'm very invested in a scrapbooking product that was originally available from Provo Craft.

The product is a scrapbook sticker ( Roll Alphabitties - Pixie Serif Black ( 42-0572 ) )

Do you have any old inventory or can tell me where to get it, I would be extremely grateful. I have utilized this product in 50 years of family albums.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Provo Craft is a bully company that took away my software

Provo Craft sued and settled out of court Make-the-Cut software and now I cannot use it on my Cricut. I bought the Cricut specifically to use a 3rd party software with it, plus buy Provo Craft cartridges.

For the love of Pete, this company has no clue when it comes to keep their customers happy. They are sue happy and going after any and everyone who has an idea they want. Stay away from them and buy from other cutting machines companies.

There are many with much better cutting machines.

Provo Craft is now suing a magazine called The Bug who does nothing but promote Cricut products. PC just seems to want to tick off all its customers.

Just got off the phone with Provo Craft's level-2 support, and to say it was an unpleasant experience would be an understatement. They were good at double-talking my wife who has little detailed computer knowledge, but when I began to confront some of their statements (same tech support rep), the person got very defensive.

They will mislead you if it's in their best interest, and only help you if it's in their best interest as well. I finally got her to explicitly acknowledge that they engage in predatory practices and are doing all they can to keep Cricut users from using ANY other company's software or hardware.

As long as competitors' software is installed on a computer, they've programmed theirs to keep you users from using the Craft Room - on or off line. I'd consider reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission, but asking the government to fix a problem has about as much chance of success as asking Provo Craft to fix a problem unless it will make them money.
