Provinziano And Associates

I paid them and literally no work was done on my behalf. They are a scam. This isn't a real business.

I wish I had read the negative / real reviews before hiring Provinziano and Associates. I had a very bad experience and I wish I was warned about this attorney's rip off practice.

The reviews on AVVO are so misleading and unreliable. Apparently, lawyers buy Good reviews. They must think short term and quick money because at the end they can't keep clients if the service is so bad and if they are ripping them off right and left. I am disgusted by the type of service I got from Provinziano and Associates.

I had to fire them before I got anything done and the charges were rising nonstop for not work. I would discourage anyone from hiring him unless they want their money to go to waste.

I was in extreme distress I gave this firm the last $5000 I had to protect my interest in a divorce matter. My initial concern was when nithing was happening and the fact that although they made many assurances to me of which I have written in emails they never once followed thru on anything.

They accepted ALL opposing councils deals and left me homeless and more than $10,000 worse off than I had been offered before I hired these crooks. The "family" assets were a million dollars. He negotiated me $30,000 of which I have received zero. After almost 2 months of doing nothing I was about to fire him and demand my retainer refunded, but before I could he had the nerve to schedule a call and tell me they were no longer my attorneys and needed me to sign an SOA, he then told me they used up the retainer plus another $800 ???

Doing what I wondered, the invoice itself is ludicrous, if they thought about you while taking a dump they count that as billable time, if you call the office (you will never ever get to talk to anyone) they will bill you for leaving a message with the receptionist ! I talked to Al Provinziano once, briefly. All my calls to his office are met with "I'll pass the message on" ($150 in billable time for that) or I can schedule a call back Tuesday at 1:30? If one of their paralegals calls to ask you how to spell your middle name they will charge you for that call too.

I digitally recorded every single phone call to or from their office. So after electronically sending them $5,000 , I met with Al - never, I met with one of his associates - never. They a accomplished nothing, filed nothing, their response was well we couldn't file because we wanted to hire a private eye to find her?? Really?

Why? I told them where she was, I even told them exactly where she would be over a several hour period, "oh we can't do that"..? Why isn't that what a process server does? In addition they could have served notice to her attorney.

That initial failure to act as promised now over a month since I hired them left me homeless despite my pleas to file and protect my interest. A month into it and they hadn't even contacted her attorney although they had that info from day one. What a bunch of lying thieves these people are. They wanted to abandon me a week before going to court they begged me to sign an SOA because they knew I was out of money, they offered me several more hours of worthless pro bono hours if I would sign.

I did sign, then they sent me a bill for an additional $5,000......??? Yes, I will be filling a complaint of fraud and negligence with the state bar and other consumer agency's.

Oh and AL ...IF YOUR READING THIS IM GONNA HAVE TO CHARGE YOU FOR MY TIME TO WRITE IT, THINK ABOUT IT, AND THE TIME IT TOOK YOU TO READ IT AND DISCUSS IT WITH YOUR "TOP TEAM" OFF ASSociates, oop's was I raising my voice? I'll be sending a bill to you AL, all neatly itemised of course, lets see: manicurist for wear and tear on nails typing this $175, transportation to manicurist $85, lunch after manicurist $37.50.........

I hired Provinziano & Associates during my child custody battle. And fired them after our first court date.

They are so disorganized and charge an outrageous amount because it takes them hours to get anything done. The fees were ridiculous due to their incompetence on the case. They FAILED to inform me that my mediation time had changed and I missed my mediation in the case which looks terrible to a judge and lost me the opportunity to discuss matters with my ex. When asked how that could happen, there response was that it was no big deal basically.

I was enraged. They failed to credit me anything for this mistake even though it cost me a days work and a drive to court and all of our preparation for the mediation alone, which they charged me over $2k for was lost. I immediately fired them and incurred $8,326.00 of fees that they refused to refund any of when I took them off my case. I got a new far superior lawyer who charges the same rate per hour, but handled my entire case and won it for me for less than $6k total at the end of everything!

It only re-infuriated me that this new lawyer did so much more work than them and still cost les because she handled matters quickly and didn't charge me for hours worth of time to draft a document. Not only that, but Provinziano had me doing most of the work on my own the whole time. While my new lawyer handled everything for me and gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend using FMBK Law for any divorce/child custody battles.

They were amazing and extremely fair with prices. PROVINZIANO IS THE WORST ATTORNEY I'VE EVER WORKED WITH.

He's just horrible. He charges, charges, and over charges...after doing nothing except continuing my case.

He is really good at making it seem like he's busy while doing absolutely nothing. He NEVER calls back...

I've heard that he has a strict policy on not calling current clients back from his employees. After he has your money, he basically takes it and runs!!!

I would advise strongly against hiring the law offices of Alphonse F. provinziano.

Took his office over a month just to get my files from the court house. They never return calls. They set up meetings with you and never keep there side of the meeting as if they forgot all about you. Then they tell you u might not get ur retainer back after doing nothing for you.

He has more then one office so be careful they promised me they would start on my case rite away so guse they lie as well. if I where you I would look some where else for legal advise or representation.
