Is someone there on the other side responding my phone call? Even the email is not responding automatically! Whats going on! Someone did respond my question and ask for the service address. And you know what? They totally vanished after I reply the email! Also, I cant leave my phone number (which is Canadian) to maintain the queue. I cant input a plus mark, so I tried 110, 011, 01, 1 in front of the phone number (also without anything, just the phone number), and it just says ask for it again! Deal with it! I have been waiting for a month!

Terrible and greedy company

$40 delivery fee every single month and $11 meter fee every single month for a condo unit. Before you use water and electricity, you already have to pay $51 to this company, who is unable to even show you how they measure all the usage. During a call to the call center, the representative threats to ask me not to tell anyone else that they measured my unit usage wrong. We live in 85 Wood Street Toronto and many owners are frustrated with this provider, unreasonable yet *** We heard this firm failed audit in other buildings in Toronto already. This company needs to be out of the market. Just horrible

Had an account with provident. Always made sure my bills were paid in full and when I moved, they refused to give me a break on the security deposit stating I don't have a full year worth of bills. I had 13 bills. All paid. They do not give a crap about anything you say. The customer service always hangs up on you. How can companies like this still be in business? Our government is soo ***

Terrible Customer Services

Provident Energy Management threatens to put a lien on your home if you don't pay your bill immediately. They are possibly the worst example of customer loyalty and service I have ever encountered. This is what they wrote Please be advised that there remains a past due balance of $159.86 on your account number 111xxx . Please make a payment immediately. Failure to do so will result in a pre-lien or a lien being issued against your property. Keep in mind owing $160 on an energy bill is minor and can happen in one billing cycle. I passionately hate this company.

Stealing money

This company will not return your deposit unless you ask for it. This is considered fraud. Why have regulators not stepped in? Also this company makes it unbelievably difficult to cancel the service. They will claim they didn't receive a lawyer's letter even when the lawyer received confirmation. This company must be investigated. Their fees are ridiculously high and do not reflect in any way whatsoever accurate usage. It is *always* on the extremely high side. Fees are high. It is a massive battle to try to cancel your service. Everyone should avoid condos using this company. They are criminal!!!! The customer service acts stupid as that is the policy in the hopes that the customer gets so fed up and quits asking for their owed money. This company is 100% a scam. If you ask an agent to speak to a supervisor they are trained to say there is no supervisor. This is a huge red flag. Give me a break. And you cannot cancel your service without a lawyer's letter of cancellation. Too bad they deny receiving that everytime. CROOKS!

Never buy condo or property where provident serves

I sold my condo and was happy that i didn't have to deal with provident any more. Bought a new condo in other area and found out that the provident serves that building too. For two months now I'm having trouble getting service registered to my name. Never had that issue with any other company in Canada

Horrible Customer Service

This is my first time dealing with hydro. Every time I had called into provident energy management customer service, the reps always have a sarcastic tone when they speak. Making the customer feel stupid for asking questions. Things that may be common sense to them aren't to many other people. So, if a customer is asking questions, I'd suggest your reps do not respond as if its common sense just cause it is to them. You chose to be employed with a job like this so act right and treat/respond to people with kindness and patience, otherwise get the *** out. This makes me feel uncomfortable calling in for future concerns smh.
