My complaint is I work at 1669 College Park and I need to enter Apartments to do my job. and you can't even get a code for me to do my job . I find your tex Or Associates don't care or have lack of Interest of keeping a smooth operation. I just got off a 30 min. phone call with Protection 1 because a $260 extra charge appeared on my account for "services performed" and "additional equipment". Protection One calls me every week to tell me my alarm system did not perform as intended during its weekly test. When I call them to come out they will only do so while I'm at work. ??? Horrible costumer service, dishonest company, very long contract, all they want is your money, and cancellation will make you pay as if you're still in the contract, big scam company, stay away from it, hope this will help someone.

This company continues to phone my home once a month at 330am. I havent worked for my former company since becoming quite ill in 2010. I have blocked the numbers, they still call. My former co having discontinued business with them since 2011 cant stand their local office. This is the worse co i know of.

Very poor customer service, stay away...nothing ever gets resolved and it's always your fault for not reading the fine print.
I called and talked to Kaitlyn. She is one of the best representatives that Protection 1 has. Very reliable, knowledgeable, and checks everything to make sure about what you are saying. She needs to recognized for the Great customer service she gives. She follows protocol and keeps you in the loop with what she is doing. They will not tell you this but they will hide a 3 year commitment in the contract. If you must end service before that they will charge you $750!!!! Or they will try to strong arm you into new contract for 4 years. Total predatory pricing scam. STAY AWAY! When we were notified that Protection One had taken over from ASG, I ordered an upgrade to the equipment. We paid an initial $189.00 and had our monthly charges automatically deducted from our account. Today I received notice from Protection One that our account is past due in the amount of $95.45. Protection One is a complete ripoff. ..do not trust them. If you return the unused equipment they still charge you, in the amount of $75.00. They call it a restocking fee.....so you are paying yo put their unused equipment vavk on their shelf!!! I am outraged! !!!!! This is my third encounter, I have been a customer for 8 years, can’t wait until my contract expires. Yes, I regret, indeed I do, that I gave them a second chance. If you cancel after THREE days of service you have to pay $750.00. You only have THREE DAYS to make up your mind. I was not informed of this, and when I asked about it, they basically said, "Too bad for you, that is standard practice for a service from any business." Protection 1 monitored the alarm system at my business for 8 years. At the end of this period they had raised my rate to over $55.00 per month. When I found out that I could get almost the same service for $10.00/month I called them. They told me that they would have a sales rep call me right back. I waited a week and no one called.
