ProSoft Engineering (data recovery) has crashed my computer

ProSoft Engeneering has was purchased for $116.00 which was supposed to protect my iMac. It made my Mac crash, and I had to spend four hours on the phone with technical support and with advanced, Level II, tech support to get it fix. ProSoft refused to refund my money, as it it not their policy to give refunds. Duh.
I sued in Small Claims Court and won, as they did not show up. The don't realize that that it is a matter of principal and I will proceed with collections and putting the matter in all three Credit Bureaus.
