Initially it was $1 plus $19 for enhanced information. Then another $19 on the same day for what I do not know.
Then 3 days later anther $10 and 2 weeks later $10 more. This is fraudulent activity.

Same thing happened to me as other customers below. I was under the impression that they contracted with the County to provide property reports but maybe it was just a clever scam.
Ill have to check with my county and report the company. I ordered a property report from my county (I thought) a couple weeks ago and had three small charges which I thought was kind of strange. Today I had a $30 charge so I had to cancel my card and now I have to change all my auto pay amounts. It looks like the auto replies are to request a refund like its no big deal but thats bullxxxx!
This cost me alot of time. Not sure how all these scammers can live with themselves.

I noticed a charge for 28.95 for a subscription of some sort that I was not aware of and did not authorize.

I fell for the $1 scam, and there are definitely hidden in "walls of text" fees that require and monthly fee that is marked for 12 months. Luckily, I canceled, but I need that money back as I am now unemployed.
The report offered nothing that I could not find online on my own.

I had the same experience as others. The site charges $1 for a property report.
What they don't tell you is the service is actually $1 + $18.95 per month. They charged my B of A card immediately. I contacted them and demanded a refund. The contact assured me they are a "legitimate company".
If so, why not be upfront about the true cost? They promised me a refund. We'll see if that happens.
Wish I had researched better. Advise others to steer clear.

This website is worthless. They are deceptive in that they advertise that the charge is $1.00 but someplace in all those pages it states 18.95.
This is a scam!!!!! Should have known better -- website was propertyrecord.com! Exclamation mark should have been my clue something was fishy. Can't even back into the website.
It is unfortunate that people take advantage of others.
I was able to get some information the day I thought I was paying $1.00 but then charged $18.95 can't even get into the website. Their website is looks very professional but it is not!!!!!

RIP OFF

The report I received was absolutely worthless and I though I was being charged $1.00 After researching on the internet I found out that somewhere in there documentation you sign up for monthly charge. I found out quickly that I was going to be charged $18.95 per month.
This group is a totally rip-off and should be removed from the internet. I did contact them on the internet and they said they would cancel my contract and refund any charges. Will diligently watch my credit card for any unauthorized charge.
Stay away from this group. Nothing but trouble.

For the last 8 month PropertyRecordcom has been taken money out of my checking account for $14.95 this was suppose to be a one time payment.

I have never received any info from Propertyrecord.com other than taking my $14.95 out of my checking account each month not one word not one letter nothing. I don't understand how can a company can get away with using people this way.

Avoid this company/scam group. The report they provide contains no more info than is available from Zillow or others for free!
And, they charge monthly for the $14.95 report or the other more expensive report. Thanks to the review below I called to ask if they were charging me too as I hadn't noticed the charges. And, they were! Supposedly I "signed up." I indicated that I had not and the operator said she would refund the two months of charges.
She was friendly and professional. I suggested she try to find work with an ethical company!

$1 report magically becomes monthly ACH charge of $14.95. Beware
- - 14.95 ACH debit from PropertyRecord.com; total $74.75 since Sept.
- - CSR refunded two payments; manager email provided.
- - Noted Scambook complaint; awaiting refund.
Discovered a 14.95 ACH debit from PropertyRecord.com in my checking account tonight (January 21, 2014) was the debit date. Complained to my bank, which informed me that these folks have been debiting 14.95 monthly since last September --$74.75 in all.
Phoned the customer service number on the site; operator agreed to refund two of these 14.95 payments. Said I'd have to email the manager to get more refunded. Gave me the e-mail (manager@***.com). This is really infuriating.
Noted an earlier complaint (resolved) in Scambook.
Are these folks full-blown scammers, or do they have a website that makes you think something is free, which is unethical, but probably not illegal? I'll wait to see if I get my money back.
I was looking for property search and some how ended up on that site-put my address in and up came the dollor charge- why I don"nt know I put in my credit card # and then wam 1:00 then 18.95 ) how come no one has been able to stop them. I'm going to try!!!

I followed the prompts and She $1.00 again. She said I had signed up for the bulk reports and was charged $14.95. WHAT? I went back through the entire process of requesting my report and NO WHERE did it disclose or ask me if I wanted to sign up for bulk reports.
I complained and was told my account was cancelled and that I would receive a refund.
This company is a SCAM! Do not purchase anything from them and spread the word!
