They always have time if I have any questions or concerns. They will always sit down with you and explain everything very clearly if you do not understand things. I have had Gulf Stream be my insurance company for my home for 4 years now and they are extremely friendly I would definitely recommend going and seeing them even if you don't want to get in surance with them they may end up changing your mind.
They have very good quality insurance. And they are not out to screw anyone over.
Gulfstream Property And Casualty Insurance - Terrible Terrible Company - Cancelled my insurance
They attempted to cancel this policy several times for no reason. My mortgage company billed me for insurance as they finally cancelled in Oct '18. After numerous calls and emails, policy was renewed. Then I got another cancellation notice in January '19 to be cancelled on 2/19/19.
That was the final straw. I then got another policy with another company that also insures my primary home and cars. Now I am trying to get my money refunded by Gulfstream. They owe me $1,000+ and my escrow account is ~$700 under water.
If they don't soon send me this refund, I will contact AL Insurance Commission. I beg people NOT to use this company. They are beyond pathetic...

The follow-up: It took two months the receive the pro-rated amount they owed me because they had chosen an arbitrary date to terminate the policy. I terminated the policy sooner and had this prorated amount between their date and mine because of there arbitrary date...

General disappointments & a lot of money out of my pockets over the last 45+ years, (car/auto/boat) somewhere over $800,000.00. I could by my house & vehicle 3 times over had I put that in the bank ! So I did some research, at the beginning of the 2008 recession, CEO...
Fema - Robbed
by RedundantBarnOwl #14770372.0
I was forced to buy flood insurance at a cost of $1702 dollars. this is an outrage.
In 1996 the town where I bought my home experienced a major flood, the home in question was never in danger from those flood waters.
The old flood map had the home listed as not in danger of flooding. The new map is nothing but a scam to generate revenue for FEMA, someone needs to go to jail for this.
FEMA Declined to Return Unearned Flood Insurance Premium Upon Sale
by FirsthandSeaOtter #14934551.0
When a FEMA insured property is sold the seller is allowed to cancel the FEMA flood insurance policy and receive a refund of the unearned premium. The required document(s) to be submitted are described on page 3 of the FEMA procedures found at: https://www.fema.gov/media-library-data/1541619932093-878aa52bac8ac0a6baabe8ac90c92719/6_how_to_cancel_508_oct2018.pdf Per the procedures I submitted a copy of the settlement statement received incident to the closing of the sale, yet FEMA declined to cancel my policy or return any unearned premium. This is your idiot federal government at work. Medicare For All will doubtless to be a great experience for all of us.

U.S.A.A is one of the worse so-called insurance companies in America besides TransAmerica, Farmers, State Farm, Nationwide and so on. U.S.A.A doesn't mind consuming the hard-earned premium money from customers. Yet, they never want to pay a loss. They are worse than...
