Horrible customer service!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased a new lamp from them in April. The 2nd time I used it it fused the lamp connector to my projector.

I sent them pictures and asked if they would cover the cost of repairs. After three months of many polite but ignored emails to them I finally got an answer. No. They could have saved me the hassle by telling me right away so I could have repaired my projector.

As it is I've been watching movies on my laptop for the last three months.

Also, don't believe their claims about selling OEM lamps. Just imitation junk.

Do not buy from this company!

Do not buy from this company. I bought a projector lamp which arrived in 3 days, it is an inferior product and does not even fit the lamp properly.

It is not a genuine product. We returned the item expecting a full refund. This company claimed to have not received it back, despite us sending it by registered post. They then said they had found it in there warehouse.

After a 2 weeks wait, we chased again, then they claimed they had lost paperwork. Refilled and now we are still waiting. They keep fobbing us off.

There is no complaints department to deal with, no manager that you can speak to, you only get put through to the sales team that say they can never help you. A nightmare, never deal with this company!

Bad projector lamp

i bought a projector lamp at projector lamp the 2/23/2014.my original lamp broke recently.I replace it by the lamp obtained at projector lamp source and the the lamp was no good.It was a Mitsubischi lamp for HC5500 projector.Naturally, the delay from the date of buy and the day of its utilisation was to long for a guaranty.Even if i did not use that lamp,it is a loss .I regret that

projector lamp souce sells a product that is defective at the beginning.I have to buy an other lamp and i will definitively try to obtain a better service.

Sent inferior lamp and will not refund my money

I ordered lamp in March - told 5-10 days delivery - arrived 30 days later. Very poor cheap quality lamp - did not fit my projector and would not have even tried it anyway.

Rang company and arranged to return for full refund. They got the lamp back mid May and I am still waiting for my money to be refunded - Appalling customer services and lied to and fobbed off each time I ring or email; Sent dozens of emails and phones calls - no refund. I am very short of money and this is really making me struggle waiting for the refund. I am going to look going to national newspapers about their corrupt practices.

DO NOT USE PROJECTOR LAMP SOURCE UK - WHO ARE NOT IN UK!!!!! - IN CANADA

Charged my account for merchandise I did not order.

I ordered 2 DLP projector lamps in January. Good price, good service. $567 for the pair. If you know anything about these lamps, that is a really good price.

In March, I received an order I did not place, and had another $567 disappear from my checking. The packing sheet says this is one of two ordered lamps. They acknowledge that the order was a mistake. They will not refund my money until they receive their merchandise back. All of their correspondence includes disclaimers that they will not refund the money if the packaging is not the original, if there are pen marks on the packaging, etc. etc. This is a fragile item. I do not want to be responsible for getting it back to them intact. According to the postal laws, I can keep it anyway, and they have to refund my money. I will return it anyway, but I am angry that 1) They intend to sit on my money and 2) will not issue me a written statement that they will return my money without any conditions.

I too ordered from this company and they sent the wrong bulb, totally different than what came out of my TV. they are giving me a big hassle about getting an RMA to return the bulb, they wanted photos of the one they sent and the one I have, wanted pictures of them side by side, wanted all kinds of numbers.

Wanted to know how I determined the bulb was the wrong one. Ridiculous stuff. The housing was different, the bulb was 2 times as big as the original. The box theirs came in had the correct number of the bulb I gave them, but it said "replacement for...." they are not a good company to deal with.

I have been waiting for 4 days for an RMA so I can return this item.

Projectorlampsource is selling cheap knockoff bulbs that barely last past the 150 day warranty period. Does 150 days seem like an odd number for warranty, its because they usually last around 160 days. They also sell the bulbs at twice the price of other knock off bulbs.

Agree stay away from this company
