Verified Reviewer |Bad hair cut
- - Loyal ProCuts customer for 20 years.
- - Had a bad haircut recently, unhappy after 20 years and seeking restitution.
When you get a haircut before you leave please check your hair cut to make sure it is cut to the way you wanted it cut and that they did not make any errors.
I have been going to ProCuts regularly for the past 20 years in my hometown. Last time I went I had a bad haircut I figured I would let them know next time I went in however when I went in the next time they said oh no you could have called right when it happened.
I just had another haircut a couple of days ago and I am very unhappy for the second time only in 20 years.
I hope I can get some restitution. Thank you
- Employees are usually always polite
- Cutters may need more training
Preferred solution: Credit for another haircut next time I go in
User's recommendation: Check your haircut thoroughly before you leave.

Verified ReviewerVery unprofessional
- - Wait time was two hours, not 20 minutes.
- - The manager was unprofessional and claimed a gay stylist would be let go, and I won't return.
Do not go here! I went to the Plymouth location for a haircut.
It took two hours of waiting even though I was told it would take 20 minutes. There was a male stylist attempting to sweep his station between cuts. His manager, whom I believe I heard him refer to as Kathy, told him not to worry about cleaning his station when they were this busy. She then proceeded to walk away, aggressively shaking her head, saying 'get with the times!'
A few minutes later, she was over at the sink, shampooing a customer.
I overheard her telling another stylist at the next sink that the male stylist (I prefer not to say his name, to protect his privacy), despite being a fantastic stylist, would unfortunately have to be let go. She claimed that male clients weren't comfortable with a gay hairdresser. This unprofessional behavior, especially in front of customers, was quite disheartening. I felt awful, as this young man was doing a truly commendable job, from what I could see.
He was very friendly and all of his customers seemed extremely satisfied with their haircuts and tipped generously. Because of the lack of professionalism and respect displayed by the manager, I will never visit this place again.
- Cheap
- Unprofessional
Preferred solution: The salon should be shut down
User's recommendation: Stay away

Hairstylist being rude
- - Rude hairstylist refused to serve my child.
- - They claimed the hair needed washing and refused to touch him.
- - The child had just showered.
Hairstylist was so rude to me and my child! Telling him his hair is dirty and she wouldn't touch him unless she washed his hair herself.
We came in for a haircut, and she wouldn't provide service to us. Kept saying he needed to wash his hair properly, when in fact he had just showered and brushed his hair to make it easier for them.
They were so rude and disrespectful, they made my child feel horrible, they were not professional whatsoever! Rude rude rude!!!
Preferred solution: Apology
User's recommendation: Don’t go there they are rude and don’t care about customers
Rude people
- - Opened at 10 am instead of 9 am, and they took long on hair and makeup; a white worker seemed too tired to work.
- - I left after telling them to take me out.

Complaint
- - Viola was rude to me.
- - Regular customer at 50th & Indiana, Lubbock TX.
- - She had other customers cut first, delaying my haircut.
Your stylist Viola is very rude employee. I am a regular customer at your establishment on 50th and Indiana in Lubbock, Tx.
This lady was rude to me and when my stylist (Dora) came back from lunch, she told her to cut the other customers first before cutting my hair.
She seemed to enjoy making me wait for my cut. I was there before the other customers and my stylist had called on me already.
- Affordable prices for a good haircut
- Limited number of stylist vs customers
Preferred solution: Apology
User's recommendation: Not with this stylist treating people like crap.I will post this treatment on my Facebook
Pro-cuts
- - There was no training; I was told to master mens cuts in 60 days.
- - I was let go after 60 days for not finishing cuts on time, with complaints.
I was employed with pro-cuts franchise right out of school and had a horrible experience working with them. There was no training given when asked before being hired and then after getting on the job told I had sixty days to get it "down".
Told them before I was hired I would need additional training in doing mens cuts. Never received it. Then told two weeks after my sixty days was up that they were letting me go due to not getting my mens cuts done on time ( fifteen minutes) and complaints. I never was told by the manager of ANY complaints about me except for two I had first got working there to my face by the client because they felt the hair was a bit uneven, but I had another stylist come over and fix those cuts before I let them leave my chair.
The manager was watching TV while doing a mens cut on a client which made the client mad because he had to wait over twenty minutes to get a cut and when he sat in her chair she was not paying attention to him but watching the televison. I got blamed for that because they felt I should have been "faster" with my cuts . But I had nothing to do with level of customer service given to him by the person who cut his hair. This owner misrepresented himself when hiring me and gave me no write ups nor warnings no nothing about anything.
And was told they would work with me on mens cuts.
Said he could not afford to pay for that AFTER the fact and then lets me go. Seems to be interested only in numbers then his employees..
