There repair services department is not good and very very slow with repairing your equipment

they have had my portable jetter for 3weeks i have to keep calling them to see when they will have it ready and they keep pushing the date back i am very unsatisfied.

WE BOUGHT OUR CAMERA FROM THEM, LIKE OTHER COMPLAINTS WE HAD TO PAY FOR SHIPPING AND EVERYTHING WAS OUR FAULT. THEY WILL ONLY TAKE CC FOR PAYMENT.

THEY ARE DISHONEST AND THEIR STUFF IS JUNK, IT COST MORE TO FIX THEN IT DID TO REPLACE FROM THEM.

WE HAD A RIGID THAT WAS OVER 10 YEARS OLD AND WAS STILL WORKING WHEN IT GOT STOLEN. YOUR LUCKY IF YOU MAKE IT 6 MONTHS FROM THEIRS.

I have 3 of the cameras and will buy another.

Currently looking at the hydro jetter 22hp. I realize not the best but will do.

I think it is as good as the others in this price range and the cart works better for me. They will customize this for me.

I see many bad reviews but few names to go with them.

This man Nick Villar is a horrible person he owes us 20,000 dollars and is not refunding our money. Do not do business with this company he will rip you off! I will go all over the internet telling everyone what Nick Villar is really about!!!!!

Hello, This is not even a Pro-Built Customer. It is from a business venture gone sour because they could not man up to their contract.

You Give someone an opportunity and when they don't pull through they go to the successful guy and blame them. If these are really legit.

*** Poor Equipment

I recently purchased a camera and a locate for my sewer business with a 5 year warranty. I did about 6 location jobs with the equipment; on the latest location, I ran the camera down the line and noted that the screen was blurring and image was unidentifiable.

When I pulled the equipment out to check it I noticed that water was on the inside of the lens, I thought that this was highly unusual as the equipment was new and barely used. I called Probuilt and was told to send the lens back into them and they would replace the lens which was under warranty. I noticed because of the leakage the lens was only put together with four screws and what appeared to be silicon substance of some kind, (obviously not water proof). I have not only lost customers but was treated like a piece of *** when I called them to get information on the part I was expecting "within 5 days" of receipt.

It is very agitating when a paying customer gets treated so badly after they're warrantied equipment fails. I requested to speak to the main boss so that I could attempt to resolve this issue and all that I got was hung up on. The cost of this was not only approximately 1800.00 but I also lost at least 5000.00 in contracts while I am waiting on the replacement to arrive via mail.

I was then told before they hung up on me that I would be charged 27.00 for delivery of the part. BEWARE BUYERS----DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY ARE A RIP OFF COMPANY!!!!!!

Warrantied parts are covered but the shipping is not as stated on our website. If this part lost you $5000.00 You probably could of paid a few more dollars for overnight.

$27.00 vs $5000.00 life is to sort to argue If these are really legit.

WORST COMPANY EVER

About 4 months ago I bought a sewer camera and paid $1,600 for it, I have only used my sewer camera a handful of times for home inspections and sewer locations since I’ve had it. I noticed that the camera head was looking really foggy and looked at the camera head and there was water inside the camera head, so I called Probuilt tools and they wanted proof and pictures that there was water in the camera head, so we sent the camera back because they said it could be a seal that went bad on the camera head, so I was very agitated because I had just bought the unit and it was already giving me issues.

So I called to check on the status of my sewer machine and they said they put new seals inside the camera head, one week later I got it back after losing customers because I did not have another camera, so I got the unit back when out to run a sewer inspection call and once again there was water inside my camera head. So instead of losing my customer I pulled the camera head apart because it has 2 screws holding it together, and come to find out when I opened the camera head instead of them replacing the seals they put silicone to seal it and the camera head was very rusted in the inside, called Probuilt tools back and sent pictures again of the camera head and they did not replace the seals at all, they gave me the runaround for 2 days and stated that I needed to pay for a new camera head when it has a 1 year warranty. Finally got to talk to the “OWNER” NICK VILLAR I was very upset and let him know that he needed to send me another camera head and that I was NEVER EVER using their company again. NICK VILLAR said he was not going to send me another camera head and told me to go *** myself, this is coming from a company that is supposed to be a legit good company very very disappointed.

PEOPLE DO NOT BUY FROM PROBUILT TOOLS VERY VERY RUDE AND DISHONEST PEOPLE. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO NO ONE!!!!

99.9% of the time when the owner at this company is is talking to the customer, its because the customer has verbally abused more than one employee at Pro-Built with threats or violence. The customers who treat us right get treated right.

The customers who don't us right, we don't do business with. I will not let my people be abused. If these are really legit.

Probuilt tools stole my money

I received a refund from Probuilt tools last week. Yes Nick, $2003 missing from my bank for over 9 months tested my patience.

I just logged on to update that I was refunded my money. Thanks.

I ordered a sewer camera from Pro built tools in November 2011. A month goes by and the owner, nick Villar said that they got new camera heads and as soon as they had them on in a few days it would be in route.

After a few more months of excuses I asked for a refund. It is now July 2012, 9 months later and Nick Villar will not return my calls. I've received 2 emails from him, only after I hurt his ego talking about his business management skills. He responded by calling me names; I guess me wanting what is mine really offends him.

Every moment dealing with these people is a nightmare. It turns out it is actually south coast equipment renamed after they burned their bridges ripping people off. After researching Nick Villar I called one of his numbers and it was south coast equipment. He is also involved with phase one technologies; same people running it under different names to scam people.

Before you deal with Nick Villar, Probuilt tools, southcoast equipment, or phase one technologies, do your research. Google them, look them up on bbb as I should have.

This is nothing new. He did this to well over 100 of us when he auctioned off 100 jetters on ebay a couple years back.

They wnet cheap and as far as I know, knowbody every recieved a jetter. After many broken promices and lies he convinced me to hold on it's shipping.hold on long enough to go past my 45 days to file a complaint with ebay, paypal. And 60 days with my credit card co. Finally after putiing lots of pressure on him with, I was sent a refund check that for 120.00.

This check bounced better than a basketball overinflated. What kind of company that's supposedly a giant in the industry, doesn't have $120.00 in their checking account.

Ebay finaly shut down their usere name soath coast equipment.but unfortunately they now use other names to sell their junk and continue to rip people off as noted on this forum and others.

Yes I finally got a cash refund.

As a bounced check can subjet him to 3x the face value. He's a lousy business man, but knows how to work the system and rip people off and get away with it.

Payed and ordered for sewer camera inspection equipment, only half the goods arrived and after 12 months of excuses no return phone calls, no returned emails. Jess on 949461**** repetedly told me someone would call me back and nick on 714437**** said if i faxed a copy of the original invoce he would sort it all out for me. Now no one answers any phone calls and obviously the scam they are trying to pull continues.

This guy got his refund. We had to wait for his credit card company to release a hold on payment.

He was very impatient.
