UNHONOURED INSURANCE CLAIM

I hereby forward my ill-treatment by PMB after being their customer since 2013 fo 7 years. All these years I have been loyal to them and I never claimed. I was unfortunate to be invloved in an accident for the first time on the 25th of February. An overtacking Navara car was about to make a head-on collusion with an oncoming car. The driver swaved to my side and was coming to hit me by the driver door. I was in the middle lane, the far left lane was driving a truck. I swaved towards the truck and hit the truck bumper with the middle of my Ranger rear left light and the tyre. It was damaged. I forwarded my claim to the insurance company with all the needed documents. They took almost two weeks to respond. Their response was a "REGRET" siting that the damage was "COSMETIC" and they dont cover such damages. I was annoyed with alll these years over R630 per month and moreover, I took a comprehensive insurance with them at the beginning and never changed. They said my car was not mechanically ompromised and was not toured after the accident, hence they dont cover that. I asked them to forward to me the conversation I did with their rep but they failed. I appealed to no avail. They are now playing around deying to honour my claim yet I never missed even a single premium. I warm all motorist never ever have anything to do with PMD. They are crooks. Many insurance companies have been trying to lure me but I stayed loyal to them. I phoned them last year in August asking for a discount for my premiums. They reduced them by R50 but was not implemented. I asked them about that recording and failed ģo produce it. User's recommendation: I therefore warn ALL current PMD customers and those prospective future clients to look for other alternatives insurance companies. Insurances are supposed to help us in times of need. If they are not their for us and starts telling stories just to avoid honouring the claim, them why waste time dealing with inconsiderate greedy crooks. Please guys be warned. Im all alone now yet they made thousands with my subscriptions that turned to nothing. We insure our properties for unforeseeable contigencies. In case we run into them like what I did, the company must honour its onligation. My colleague suffered the same fate from the same company. What about those who kept quiet. Be warned.
