When Martin Wallen finally showed up. He did not even bother to look for the generator like the police searched the house.

All he could say You had so much stuff to move. I also knew what I had and where I had put it. Also, they had an OSHA safety issue. They put a gas can overturned on its side in a cabinet brought to my guest bathroom.

I had been gone to a funeral for 3 days and did not know it was inside until I came home. I opened the cabinet door and the fumes blew me away. He then told me the movers had done me a favor by moving the gas can for me. At 4 am when they finished moving me, they just dumped tubs and boxes that were stacked on boxes marked fragile and crystal.

It was no wonder I could not see the generator missing until a few days later. The dolly it was sitting on showed up?

Jan. 18th, 2020-Movers came

4 Guys on time and a walk through of what needed to be moved.

I moved 14 miles within Conroe, TX.

They needed another day to finish.

Somewhere within those 14 miles my gas powered generator disappeared. It was brand new when I bought it and still in the box with the nylon flat ties. I had it on a flatbed dolly so I could move it around alone with the smaller one still in the box, new. They scratched my Parky Antique Dining room table.

I had asked them to cover it. I babied and protected that table since 1973.

The scratched my Washer and Dryer.

They broke a wheel off my craft table and took the wheel with him promising to fix it? The Driver, Steven picked up a table with 18x18" and 1/4" thick. The 2 panels fell out and fell on the other table.

Leaving 3 panels chipped. I was told all was cosmetic and offered me $75. Then he took his spit and tried to rub out the scratches on my table. I filed a Police report.

Reported him to MVD and Adult Protective Services. I am a Senior turning 73 this week, 2/27/20.

There are more items no need to list them. They finished unloading me at 4 am on Jan.

20. 2020.

Loss:
$5000
Pros:
  • Plenty of help
Cons:
  • Not on time and many promises not fulfilled

Preferred solution: Fix all damaged goods and return or replace my gas powered generator.
