Didn't do what asked to do / did what told not to do

I took car in due to an onstar malfunction repairman didn't know what was wrong but offered to start tearing apart the stereo at 130.00per hour. I declined.

I called onstar they told me to bring it back to the shop, (they would cover cost to have the repair tech call them and give the case number so onstar tech could advise repair tech about malfunction and how to fix it. (sound system gone inc. warning buzzers, stereo, blinker sound etc.) I called made an appt. took it in told them I had talked to onstar was told to have them call with case number and onstar would pay for it.

I never said tear apart stereo and amps (declined that 2 weeks prior) they never called onstar liked asked but tore apart my amps left them out in the trunck. on my way to appt. my altnerator went on the fritz. So there was another problem for them to look at.

seperate from the onstar issue. Assumed that the est. charges was for the alt. problem seeing as I had just told them onstar would be taking care of that part of it.

Nothing was specified on the work order what charges were for. So when I signed the service contract I had no idea it included the onstar problem. (I was under the impression ) onstar was to pay for the onstar malfunction but they never called. Had to pay to get car out of shop won't refund 184.00 what they charged to tear out and leave out my amps.

they didn't do what I had asked them to do. if they would have onstar would have paid. they did do what I asked them not to. do.

My first appt was not in computer but I have the service receipt they gave me to prove I was there and I declined them tearing apart my stereo and amps.

After several calls over several days, to the service person with who helped me at the time of my appt. I got no retrun call I had to take time off work to go in person only to be told I had to come back in a few days there was only one person who can give money back he was on vacation. (come on there are over 700 employees and only one person can give refunds and no refunds given if he is out) finally got to talk to service manager. more time off to go in again.

I explained my problem and I wanted a refund because they didn't do what was asked of them instead did something they were not asked to do. He told he would think about it and get back to me. (which means get out of my office you aint getting *** lady) did call me back next day only to tell me sorry you lose we did nothing wrong or we won't admit to it anyway. and we won't refund your money.

I made one last attempt to talk to him later that day and again was told nope no way no money good day.
