Verified Reviewer |Resolved: Blatant fraud in my mind
Nothing . I discontinued my association with the company completely after my calls were stalled.
I would not do business with this company. Their practices are deceptive at the very least.
I was invited over 3 years ago to join the Presbyterian wellness program. I am over 73 and do not get a high pension.
The wealth reward card they offered at the time paid $30 a month for me to take a photograph of my meds in the morning and my afternoon meal. Believe me, when you are on a very low income, this is a matter of choosing 1 or 2 meals a day! After a year, the amount was dropped off to $25 a month. Ok, no problem, I am grateful for that!
But then things went awry. I don’t know why and get absolutely no help from them. Up until now, I have missed 3 entries? All due to my being out of range for computer services.
I have redeemed the funds by using my reward card at Walmart or Dollar General. I live in a rural community; those are the only stores in the area, and there’s no problem. Now, all of a sudden, I'm being told by the clerk it’s fraudulent photos attached! Mind you, every entry reads, 'Congratulations, you earned $2 from this today!' Tell me I don’t feel cheated, tell me I don’t feel totally embarrassed by being accused of being a fraud!
If there is anyone out there who can explain this thinking!
But I sure am not happy with Presbyterian and its fraudulent program. Can I sue?
- Great medical treatment
- Will not explain discrepancy
Preferred solution: Explaination and apology for declaring me a fraud
User's recommendation: Nothing is free

Near Death Experience due to physician error
Presbyterian Hospital Plano, TX allowed an inexperienced doctor to care for me after major surgery. He contravened my surgeons instructions and kept me on a ventilator for an additional 18 hours and exposed me to Heparin which caused Heparin Induced Thrombosis sending blood clots to my lungs and brain.
I survived but had to undergo an extra 8 months of therapy. A year later all is not as it was before the experience. It was necessary to install a titanium filter in my descending inferior vena cava which I will carry for the rest of my days.
The hospital defended the doctor and his bad judgement.
The facility provided a bed after readmission due to an emergency following their initial care that was so uncomfortable that it prevented sleep. It was only after vigorous protests from myself, my wife and son that a bed that permitted sleep was provided.
