Poor treatment

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I went to Albuquerque hospital 1100 central avenue se. Complained of my left side hurting and told the doctor the other symptoms I was having. I had tests run. Blood work done. I was not properly diagnosed. The doctor said I could have passed a kidney stone. I had on my aftercare instructions to take ibuprofen every 6 to 8 hours. I did ask what about the other problems I was having? I left with nothing solved. The staff treated me poorly. I had to go to another state for medical help in person. I also was not sent a bill. I had to call the hospital and ask. I had been sent to collection agency. I called my insurance company. I tried to file a complaint with Bbb.org. I also called the Bbb (serving New mexico and southwest colorado) and they said I can not file a complaint but I can leave a review. I filed a review online since I could not file a complaint.

Presbyterian Hospital - Nurse Review from Newark, New Jersey

My complaint is on the 4th floor nurse Anna. She walked by me several times in the hallway and never offered any help. Then on Saturday night I was told to turn off the tv because she wanted it off not the patient. Personalities clash but she is the professional not in my book mhho

When I wondered why the San Mateo clinic offices of Presbyterian are so poorly run, I discovered the overwhelming reason. "Erin," their Clinic Manager has no idea how to speak to an irate guest.

When experiencing multiple delays (approximately one month) in getting a prescription refilled (been taking on/off for 10 years), I became frustrated and short-tempered. Further exacerbating the situation by being rude AND condescending (Erin) doesn't help. The clinic appears run-down & messy as well (Valentine's decorations still up two weeks after the holiday), adding to the mess.

To start, learn to count past "one" Erin! TWO!

Terrified

I called ems around 6:30 am i couldnt breath my throat closed up and i blacked out. I arrived around 7 am i recieved a room nurse came in and took vitals 4 hours later i saw the doctor i received x rays then was diagnosed with an infection in my throat. I didnt receive any antibiotic or pain medicine until 3 hours after x ray i informed them i was paranoid schzoranic and i blacked out and was unaware as to what was going on with my body all i wanted was medical attention. The doctor told me that i was rude and he should have never let them give me the antibiotic and just let me die. They had me confined to my room and police talked junk to me also and held me against my own will. One of the worst experiences i have ever encountered.

As a paranoid schizophrenic you are a danger to them and to those around you. Confining you to your room was legal and required, especially if during your 'black out' you were aggressive and violent.

REFUSED TO SEE NEW PATIENT BECAUSE OF ANSWERING SERVICE

Dr. Allen Pearlman in Dallas, Texas refused to see a new patient that was scheduled for an appointment because she was in the ER the night before and unable to make it to her scheduled appointment. The staff was very rude and said Dr. Pearlman said he was unhappy because she called late at night to cancel her appointment for the next morning; the patient is almost 80 years of age. He told her to find another doctor. He was disappointed she called his office; leaving the patient without a doctor to see for another appointment; even though she has a known cardiac condition.

Doctor offices have rules. If she was an established patient, he would have seen her for a followup. Take her to her previous doctor...or did you have trouble keeping those appointments too?
