Verified ReviewerDelivery box was fine...product inside was damaged...
I have five Prepac storage units that I purchased several years ago to store my DVDs (yes, I have that many). Great product at the time.
Had to order one more recently, and WOW, what a shocker! I gather this product was originally mfg'd in Canada, but now is U.S. Really, have we gotten that lax with quality control? Anyway, this most recent unit was damaged where it will be in full view, but the shipping box was just fine...so, the damage should have been spotted at the factory before shipping.
Too old to want to repack it and ship it back (I live in the boonies, so service of any sort is badly lacking).
Luckily, I'll probably never need another cabinet from this poor excuse for a U.S. company.
User's recommendation: Find a substitute not made in the U.S.A.

Verified ReviewerTheir products are trash and God help you if your missing one board out of the box.
purchased a 36-inch freestanding cabinet. it came with everything except for a couple of boards.
they refuse to send out the boards to me, and the products are garbage. it's all particle board that falls apart; flimsy, it's trash. do not buy it. don't waste your money.
I wasted $500 on a little cardboard box, literally. it's pathetic. don't waste your money. take the review to heart and don't waste your money.
it's all garbage, and they do not send you the parts if you're missing a part or two.
you literally have to have an act of God help you to get a board from their customer service. so it's all garbage; trust me, do not buy anything from prepac!
- Products are garbage customer service sucks
Preferred solution: I would like to receive the boards that were missing out of my order.

Verified ReviewerLeaving Canada
They've decided to abandon the country that made them for Trump. Hope they enjoy only having a US market because we are never buying from them again
Preferred solution: I want nothing from them. They are traitors to Canada who made them
User's recommendation: Stay away. They aren't Canadian any longer and quality will likely go down in the US

Verified ReviewerGreat customer service!!!
Even though we were not the original purchase of a unassembled crated dresser that had a freight damaged top, they quickly sent a replacement dresser top at no charge
Disappointed
ordered two wardrobe cabinets- one was complete, the other was missing 2 parts. How can large items be omitted from a package?
Do not purchase from this company
This company has a no return on parts policy. They are in Vancouver.
They take 58 hours to get back to you.
You must have the item number from the box. They are very nice but good luck getting what you need.
Not happy
order came i unpacked it and found no hardware to put this corner cabinet together. Model #SCC-0604-1.
Very disappointed. now got a pile of wood sitting on the floor in my way
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
Lousy company policy's!
We purchased a small two drawer nightstand last weekend. It was cheap and would work for what we need it to do.
My issue is with the company. Our package had a broken side piece to a drawer and when I contacted the company (via email listed on the paperwork) to receive the replacement piece I received and email stating the company I purchased the product from was not one of their distributors and they would not warranty the item. How in heavens name am I to know who their distributors are? I found an item I wanted to purchase and I purchased it.
The seller states the items are "as-is" but products have factory warranty. The seller wasn't even aware of Prepac's policy. There are too many other companies around that will warranty their products like Ameriwood. We purchased a 5 drawer dresser from Ameriwood and the hardware bag was missing.
I emailed the company and within a week I had the missing item. Spend your money with a company that will back their products & not give you a bunch of "we would gladly help you if: you stand on your head during a full moon on the last Saturday of the month!" ***
Preferred solution: replace broken side piece
Parts not included
Ordered a Prepac entryway hanging shelf online from Lowes. Received it with no issues and started to build it BUT no wll mounting hardware.
Quite annoyed so I emailed the customer service email in the instructions (also large printed phone # Ito call as well), get an email back with response promised in 48 hours. Next day email saying I will get a response regarding replacements parts which prompted me to email back the lack of parts NOT replacement parts. A quick email back says management would get back to me. Couple days later no response so I emailed a few time wondering what's going on.
Then I get multiple, identical emails saying depends on wall up to person to buy screws nothing they can do?? Irate I email several time saying its ridiculous that the instructions say I have to go to the hardware store to buy more parts, and for the cost of the mounting hardware it would cost Prepac cents to supply it.
Then this so called customer rep Kim says she is cleared to send me 3 screws....I email back requesting reimbursement for the screws I bought as it took them so long to get back to me I had to put the shelves up given it was 5 ft long and I had a toddler at homes she emails saying I should call the VP to which I email back saying why should I call and I preferred emails so Mr big wig VP Jim says because I didn't call him the case it's closed and then he threatens me with cyber bullying for my emails. Ya real customer service after I buy their product....

Sorry, I need to add something to the review I submitted above: you cannot order additional shelves for the units, so I'm constantly short a few for DVD shelving. HOWEVER, on Amazon, they show a unit filled with CDs, with adequate shelving.
Last time I checked, a DVD is taller than a CD, thus I should have enough shelves to fill the unit.
Not so! False advertising, or are the units simply being shipped with fewer shelves now?
