Refund

I registered and paid for the Exposure Series event last night (around 10 p.m.), but after reviewing my schedule, I realized I wont be able to attend due to work commitments I cant miss. Ive already reached out to your AI twice and was told to wait 48 hours, but I need this refund processed as soon as possible due to my job risk.

Could you please escalate this request and confirm as soon as you can? I appreciate your help!

User's recommendation: Check schedule before purchasing

AI Highlights
  • - Auto-renewal charged a year after signup.
  • - Refund denied and they cited a notice at first payment, with no phone contact or response.

My 18-year-old son paid for a yearly subscription a year ago while he was being recruited for football. He did not plan to keep the subscription for over a year and hadn't realized that Prep Redzone has an auto-renewal policy, where it will automatically renew your subscription once it ends without notice.

He realized 10 days after it renewed that he had been charged for the subscription and tried contacting Prep Redzone because he hadn't accessed the account since months before.

When he contacted Prep Redzone, they refused to refund his money as they said they had written a notice about the auto-renewal policy when making the first payment. When I try to find a phone number, there is no one to contact, and the company has not responded to any of our questions besides the first email.

The govt. does protect consumers from these kinds of things.

The whole US Govt. is a giant bureaucracy that eventually will crash of its own momentum. Actually, as it turns to, bribery is a more efficient way to get things done. In Mexico, I could bribe a cop very cheap and avoid all the hassle of fighting it in court it I wanted to challenge it besides which the ticket would not go on my driving record.

If you are well off or rich , you have folks who do all this for you. But now, since much of customer service has been passed on to the customer....they eliminate that expense and hire cheap, poorly trained customer service folks who often make mistakes or don't are working overseas and communication is terrible.

Horrible customer service/no accountability

AI Highlights
  • - Subscribed in January during his junior year for college football.
  • - Auto-renews yearly; refund request denied, and contact is only by email.

My high school son subscribed to this company in January of his junior year because he was told it would be good to do if you were considering playing football in college. Unfortunately this company automatically charges you every year unless you cancel your subscription before the year ends.

My senior didnt read the fine print but asked for a refund. The company denied his request for a refund. I should also mention that there is no phone number to contact anyone at this company. They only had someone contact my son through email.

I believe this company should have refunded my son his money. He is a high schooler who clearly didnt know what kind of company he was dealing with.

User's recommendation: Cancel your subscription immediately after you sign up so you don’t get charged again in a year. I would also remove my credit card information from their file.

There you have it, your son did not read the fine print. Not their fault.

It is the fault of your son. If he did not know what he is dealing with, you should have helped him.

Instead of defending your son, let him learn his lesson. One you have yet to learn.
