Bad service - lemon car? Subaru Fremont
- - Left a note for Jacob or General Manager.
- - Maintenance at 6,000 miles; major repair claimed.
- - Oil not on dipstick; loaner provided; car returned.
I left a note in the Service Dept to have Jacob or the General Manager call me.
For reference: @6,000 Miles we came in for maintenance and the said they had to do a MAJOR repair (only 1 in 10,000 cars have this happen like this problem).
After a week we got the car back.
I backed out of the garage and decided to check the engine oil and it did not even register on the dipstick! I immediately went into Subaru and had them check on it and again they gave us a loaner and said they’re going to find out why there was no oil in the car. The car only has 7,600 miles on it!
btw the loaner car after a mile said we were low on gas!
Usually after a major problem was fixed the service department would have you come in to see if everything was okay - had I not checked the engine oil I would have driven another 5,000 without oil and possibly been stranded on the side of the Road.
We are extremely upset about this and would like to know what our options are in a case like this.
We carry our 9 year old Grand Daughter in the car and knowing it might break dow is very
- Bad service
Preferred solution: Full refund
