GDPR breach

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • Picking up in post exposes other customers' names and addresses; this is a GDPR breach and stores should provide in-post pickup for each customer.

When picking up in post I am directed to search through a container with all other parcels. This gives me unauthorised access to names and addresses of other customers in breach of gdpr.

Please resolve this by asking the store to get the in post for each customer. My details are displayed to other customers collecting in post consequently

Preferred solution: Instruction to the store to provide the parcels to customers and not allow customers access to other peoples data

  • Shelf sign stated 2 for £5.50.
  • At checkout, price differed; the offer was expired.
  • Old price remained on shelf; assistant did not help.

Went to buy 2 bottles of cider.

Sign on shelf stated 2 for £5.50.

Got to checkout, added up, assistant asked for a different amount.

Told him 2 for £5.50 as per shelf.

Assistant told me the offer expired at the end of May.

I declined the purchase.

I can understand the offer just expired, but over 2 weeks.

The assistant left the old price on the shelf.

His response was not good. Did not help, did not speak English.

Preferred solution: Apology

Premier Stores - Complaint!
Contains 1 confidential file for company representatives

I visited your store on Trevaylor Rd, Falmouth, and purchased two sound effect toy guns.

I live approx 0.1m from the store and one of the guns broke before we had even got back home!

We returned to the store and explained to the same cashier what had happened and asked to have the gun replaced. The cashier informed me they had no others and refused to refund me for the one broken gun!

Perhaps i could understand this if I'd returned the next day, but just moments after purchasing!?

I only moved a coupke of weeks ago, making premier stores my nearest shop. This is not the kind of treatment I expect from my local shop, let alone Tesco!

I await your reply,

User's recommendation: Don't bother with any of their toys. Total rubbish!

Complaint against a shop

AI Highlights
  • Staff at Queen Street local need training.
  • They were rude to female customers.
  • Cash-only for topups; 2p coins were refused for a loaf.

The staff who work in the queen street local could do with some staff training, especially customer relations. They are rude, unhelpful, disrespectful to female customers.pick and choose how customers can pay, especially when paying for gas and electric topups, you have to pay by cash, they won't allow cards.A friend of mine isn't well off,she went to the shop with just the right amount of money in 2pence pieces for a loaf of bread, but they refused to serve her,I don't see how they could refuse, they are legal tender.she had to come home and ask me to change it in order to get bread . disgusting.no wonder young people want to give them a good hiding.

User's recommendation: Avoid it like the plague.

False advertising and aggressive staff

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • Premier Grantown paypoint could not be used.
  • Only one trained paypoint staff on shift after 2pm.
  • The staff member shouted when customer complained.

Premier in Grantown on Spey advertises as having a paypoint but when i went in to redeem a warm home discount voucher that included instructions to staff on what to do i was met with no cant do it not trained,i was told one person trained to do it came on shift at 2pm i returned to be told still no cant do it even though instructions were there to see the man became aggressive when i complained and began shouting at me in Punjabi prev speaking English i assume so i cldnt understand his abuse of me . They seem happy to take revenue from having a paypoint but dont train enough staff to cover from 7am to 10pm therfore only providing half a service if you go in and trained not on shift how is that a service they falsely advertise as having and if you dare to complain your given a barrage of abuse.

Totally unacceptable and upsetting im a disabled woman trying to redeem a voucher they shld ALL be trained not think its ok to verbally abuse and shout at me in Punjabi so i cant understand what i assume is derogatory. If they cant provide the service expected from a paypoint how is it fair they recieve revenue from it ??

Pros:
  • Local
Cons:
  • Abusive staff

Preferred solution: Full paypoint sevice
