Broken Watch - can't find parts

I purchased a 250.00 watch, wore it 1 time, and one of the side buttons on the watch fell out. I still had the protective cover on the watch and the tag. Took it back in for repair. Charged me 15.00 to send it in for repair. Then they called me 2 weeks later and said they can't find any more of the side buttons, and can't replace it for me. Too bad for me.... I have a 250 dollar watch that was never worn, and now broken and worthless. Bought my wife a watch at the same time. Gave it to her as a gift. When we went back in to size it, they said sure, for another $20 bucks. Terrible quality and service. Don't buy from them.

Watch repair

I sent in three Freestyle watches for repair back in August. They still have yet to repair or FIND my watches. That's right they lost two of the three I sent in. ON top of all that they have made little to no attempt to contact me. I have been the one to constantly reach out to them. It is now February and I'm still dealing with this problem and STILL No Watches....I wish I had seen this as well before I sent in my watches. I'm bummed about the situation because I really like the watches I had. I believed Freestyle was a good company at one point but from this experience I'll tell people to stay away.

Preferred solution: Ultimately I want my watches back. But if they are lost then I need replacements at their cost.. after all the time and hassle I don't feel like I should be paying anything.

Update 3/02/2016:

so They never found my watches, they did send the one, of the three, back with anew battery. but still no apologies NOTHING..

I ended up talking to the Manufacturer and they got involved an gave me new watches.. I was stoked about that but bummed about how that had to happen...

Watch band

went in for divers watch band which they had. $42. Fell apart next day so we brought it back. They said they'd make it good and put a $14 watch band on the watch and call when another band was located. Never did call although the manager said he texted several times. Month and a half later patience is wearing thin and we called irate. Manager and staff were huffy that we were not pleased at the *** poor service and the manager accused my partner of "destroying the band" which was a lie. Wish we had read these reviews first and my recommendation is find another place to have your watch serviced to avoid absolutely horrible service.

The store manager is a shifty shady guy. He put battery and gasket on my fossil watch. When I got home and went to wear it he took links out and it wouldn't fit a 5yr old. He said oh I didn't do any of the sort,but it fit when dropped off. He wanted me to go home and get links, but I do not have them. I would never trust this store again, and have had issues with service plan for batteries. Very bad bisness going on here. Dec.13,2015

Sottomarino watch broke in a week

Bought a sottomarino watch (their own brand) a spring pin broke in a week. Returned to the same store, they wanted to charge $40 to replace a spring pin, on a one week old watch!

Last week, I went to a different location. They wanted $20 to replace a battery on a skagen. 371 batteries are $6 for 10 online (energizer) and gaskets are $5 for 100 of them. Go to Harbor Freight and buy a watch press for $15 and do it yourself.

Harbor freight also has the full watch repair tool kit, watch mallet and spring pin assortment, cheap. Help your fellow man by putting the *** artists at Precision Time out of business.

I bought a Sottomarino at Precision Time, the watch doesn't run even with a new battery. The charges for routine maintenance is ridiculous and mandatory for any service issue. Sorry I bought this watch!

I have my Seiko Kinetic refurbished by this company I had a broken crystal and they suggested to replace the gaskets of course the crystal the battery and power supply and of course decompress an adjustment of course all ended up being almost $300just for everything to fall apart within 12 months screws were coming off lose and of course the respond. I got was it's an old watch and anything can happen but yes yet they wanted to charge me again to refurbish it almost $300 again I wish I never dealt with this people then love to give you the runaround and their labor has to be one of the worstif they manage to leave the screws loose what else would you expect from them

Repaired my Wenger watch case - great; they chose to provide WITHOUT CONTACTING ME a very cheap "official" Wenger band that they charged me $35.00 for because of their "out of stock will provide WHATEVER THEY HAPPEN TO HAVE in stock policy". Total ***, and they advised that I could return their *** band and upon receipt they'll credit what they charge.... Return at my expense and my time- really?? Oh, and my postage for return? Obviously no one there took the time to read my online, typed and provided notes - glad I invested the time. As far as I'm concerned, I will not do business with Precision Time EVER AGAIN. If my watch ever fails again I will throw it out instead of attempting to do business with them.

In the beginning of March 2015 I placed an online order from precision time for the toxic area 51 watch. I paid for a new watch and they mailed me a used watch.

The bracelet showed signs of being worn. I left four voicemail messages and did not get a single reply. I sent an email and they finaly replied stating that they do not sell used watches. Interesting that I did receive a used watch and damaged container.

This company has no quality assurance and even less customer service. Do not buy from this company. Precision Time more like Poorcision Time what pile of SH:)T.

Precision Time - Watch Battery Replacement Review from Tappan, New York

I have a BULOVA watch and got a "5 year Unlimited Watch Battery package" for $24.00. I got it from palisades center, West Nyack, NY. on 2/10/11and have the receipt. I went today as i need to change the battery. There is noone there and I called on the number 845-358-****. For my surprise there is no more precision time at the mall and the bove number is forwarded or given to some other shop in the mall. What kind of business is this??

I have been a manager with PT for over 8 years, it sound like you had a low support in your DM the company in a whole does not push training like that. My entire staff are level 3 and I can assure you they earned it. I respect my staff and do not barrel roll them to the customers. My only focus it that the staff treat the customers right and any repairs they do not feel 100% on doing I do for them and they keep the sale. When you put your own needs before the customers in front of you, yes problems happen. Some damages can happen to the most experienced of repair tech. I have worked with watches for over 20 years; you as the tech need to understand why only certain repairs are done in store and why the WSC has the tools to complete repairs listed to be sent in. I am sorry for your less then amazing experience in the store. We love our store and 99% of our customers love us too. Yes every store and company will have that 1 person that wears the watch to go out and now wants to return it. I call that a rental

Precision Watch Repair Beware!!! Before trusting your watch to them!

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE !!!!!! Of this company, I sent my watch to them for a simple battery replacement, in January of this year, a huge mistake on my part for trusting my watch to this company! The company claimed an email, with an estimate of the repair would be sent. Several weeks went by and no email. I finally called in February to determine if they had received my watch (Already knew it had been delivered), but, when I called them no answer.... Only a recording, I left a message, but no return call. I waited a few days, still no return call. I called back again to determine what was going on with my simple battery replacement??? Finally, someone answered, he claimed an email had been sent out with the estimate of repairs and it probably was lost in spam. I checked my spam, there was no emails from this company. He agreed to send another estimate for the work, which I finally received. No work will be done until an estimate is agreed to and paid for.. frustrated, after waiting so long, I agreed and paid for the repairs. I had already paid $16.00 US dollars to ship my watch there, the estimate for replacing a; battery, a seal, and water test was $43.00..... $59.00 total to replace my battery and shipping. Finally at the end of February, received an email confirmation my watch had been sent back and received it a couple of days later, the watch was again running and had been cleaned and polished. After a few days of wearing the watch, I tried to turn the bezel, the watch is an underwater watch with a rotating bezel. This bezel had been rotating freely and was fine, before it was sent to Precision Time Company. Now it will not rotate whatsoever, frozen as if it had been glued..... In March, I called the same customer service person to find out what and why my watch bezel is now frozen and I'm not able to rotate it any longer??? During the conversation, put me on hold to speak to someone, came back and said that only the battery, the seal, and a water test had been done.. I replied that the bezel rotated and worked fine before it was sent, his reply, "It must of had dirt under the bezel and is making it stick" and that they had not touched the face of the watch.. I continued to complain that this watch worked perfectly before being trusted in their hands to make a simple battery replacement. He assured me he would bring this to the attention of his supervisor and he would send an email with the decision. Three days have gone by, and NO email back from Precision Time Company. Poor Poor Poor customer service! This company has a lack of customer service, way over priced to replace a battery, they take forever to respond and accomplish requested work, or do not respond at all, and take no responsibility for damages done, while my watch was in their care. It is likely my watch may have been clamped down, while it was being buffed thus causing the damage to the bezel, all I know is the bezel rotated fine before it was sent... Whatever happened while in their hands, a function of my watch is now broken and they take no responsibility for damages. A competent technician would, I would think, check to insure all functions of a watch were working properly before releasing it, unless that technician inflicted the damage to the watch..... I will send it to a another reputable company to find out what is the matter with my bezel and pay to have it fixed, a bezel which worked fine before sending it to Precision Time. I will NEVER trust anything to this company again!!! Even if they agreed to fix my watch damages they inflicted, for free........

I worked for PT for 4 yrs as a GM in a retail store, the Watch Sevice Center was a joke then sounds like it's still a joke now. Just looking at their website makes me laugh, they once sold fine Swiss time pieces.

Now all they sell is a bunch of junk they make in house. Awful company.

Watch back in missing

I carried my Movado to the Precision Time in Brandon mall to have the battery changed and now the back is lost and they say its not there fault, this is a 3500 dollar watch that is useless and right now I'm going to call a lawyer because this is non sense, what am i suppose to do with the watch now and I can't get another back from Movado, they don't offer any parts for this watch right now, someone has to pay for there mistake and it sure as *** won't be me, and those guys there are of no help.

PRECISION TIME WON'T RETURN OUR WATCH!!!

On December 18, 2014 , we went to the mall to have a battery replaced on a military watch my husband has had for many years. They said it would take 20 minutes to replace it. We returned in 20 minutes - paid for the battery and an extended warranty. While paying we realized the that second hand was now broke. Employee said it probably broke when she was replacing the battery. She couldn't fix it but said the manager would fix it when she arrived in 30 minutes. Told us it would be fixed within the hour. Went back in a hour but the manager still hadn't got there. We had other things to get done so we left the watch and told the employee we would be back in a couple days to get it. When we went back to get it, Precision Time had packed up their kiosk and was no longer there. Went to the mall information desk and no forwarding info was left. So, I got online and found their website and started calling and leaving messages at their corporate office. It took until January 6th, 2015 to get ahold of an actual person to speak to. She said that my husbands watch was sent to the corporate office since their kiosk at the mall had closed. After telling her what happened and that Precision Time had broke the watch when they were replacing the battery - she asked if we'd like them to go ahead and fix it but let me know they would be charging us for the repair. We told them NO that we didn't want them to fix it - all we wanted was the watch back. She asked for our address and told me that she would send it to us by mail and we would have it within the week. Here we are 4 months later and still NO watch. I have called and left message after message after message and can't get ahold of anyone and no one will return my call. We're at a loss... This watch was extremely sentimental to my husband and it wasn't a cheap watch either.

My son purchased a pocket watch November of 2014. The stem fell off and he brought it in, with receipt, for repair On 02/07/2015. He was charged $34.95 for the repair and $13.95 for shipping. He was told it would be 3 - 4 weeks. Just to follow up , we visited the store on 2/26/2015. The lady looked it up and said he still owed $2.39 tax that they "forgot" to charge him for the repair. The computer said it was waiting for estimate approval. I questioned what that meant considering he already paid for the repair. She wasn't sure and amazingly(lol) she couldn't get in touch with anybody to find out. She then stated she would call my son that day and update him, NEVER CALLED. March 6th we called and were told repairs take 4 - 6 weeks and that his watch was being shipped and it would take a week to get there. Well one week later no watch, now promised early next week. Called the customer service number, every call was disconnected before I spoke to anyone. Cant wait to pick up watch at store , sometime, cant wait.

watch broke twice within first year under a 5 year warranty. First repair to 5 months and i was never contacted on its completion. when i called to see if it was ready they said they never received my watch or had anything under my name. i drove to the kiosk in the mall where i bought it and it was on the back counter for who knows how long. second time i've sent it in now and again its been several months. went to the mall to discover that the kiosk was no longer there and i was not made aware of their moving of locations. got a call from corporate telling me that i now had to pay for the repair that the kiosk said was free under warranty. they will not start the repair until i pay them.
