Verified Reviewer |Predators! Taking advantage of lower income people
Prairie land towing works hand in hand with lower income apartment complexes to come tow cars that have no parking permit without any warning & from Middleton to sun prairie for over $350. We dropped a residences car off tonight and before we could go back down and put the permit in the car they towed the car & told us too bad. Cant get it back until 9am and it will cost 391.00 How on earth are we allowing companies like this, that take advantage of people, especially people just trying to line their pockets? Theyre predators.

These people were rude and treated me poorly
My truck got towed and the doors were locked. I keep the truck organized with Regrestration always in the vehicle. I went to pick it up and the registration was missing.... i made the mistake of letting them know it was in the vehicle and that it would take days to weeks to provide a title being from out of state and i have out of states plates. I asked for them to declare why they wouldn't release my vehicle in writing and they instantly became suspiciously defensive and they weren't want ing to help me in any way. These people are money hungry and unsympathetic..... stay away from this place

My vehicle which is awd 4 wd all of the sudden made a loud bang grind sound front end. I hobbled through an intersection and got it turned around to face main road. Driver scanned my door tags and took pictures. That was not protocol since it was not involved in accident. He had a hissy about iid unit in vehicle. Made a comment what you expect it's by an establishment. Maybe he had the problem he woulda came up positive if he woulda blown in device. I blew in unit for it to be put on flat bed and off. I had a sheriff drive past me 5 times in my 1 hr and 45 minute wait. Vehicle had been started several times during the wait due to it being below freezing. I reported them to AAA and Intoxaloc. The guy at the shop where it was towed looked at him like we've been dealing with those units for almost 10 years. I don't like him radioing that he has a dui. That is fraud and slander. He has had several dealings with law himself. Not driving but other crimes. I did remember him and he is very rude to women and what not. Since the sheriffs already new it wasn't alcohol related. A main bearing and axle repair . So they are horrible and unjustly lie to consumer and police. Don't trust them.

Worse towing company Prairie Land Towing Sun Prairie,WI
DISHONEST,RUDE,RIPOFF....This is by far the worse towing company. Their very unprofessional and the employees are useless. After being told the wait would be 2 hours we waited patiently starting at 10:30 pm. Prairie Land said they would call when the car was being dropped off. After 2.5 hours of waiting (1:00 am)and not receiving the call, we called them. The lady on the phone was rude and said the car had been dropped off over an hour before . She told us to hold on and in the process she hung up on use and never called back. We looked outside and could not see it. Reason being was that the car was parked in the street in front of our neighbors house. We called back and asked that they come back and put the car in the drive way since the car was not working and that is why we got the tow in the first place. Which would probably result in a ticket or getting towed again or hit if we left it where prairie land driver (Steve L) left it. In addition to all of that there was heavy snow fall so the plow trucks would be out. A guy name Will said he would have someone come out to put it in the drive way. First he said he would have someone out within an hour. Then he called back said the driver claimed he had called. Which was a total lie. He said he would have someone out when they freed up. Here we are waiting on a weekday for them to come. We were not able to sleep since they would not do their job right when we were awake how could we expect them to do it right when we are sleeping. So we waited, called back and talked to Will again at 2 am. He said it would be 30-45 mins. We said ok and waited. At 3:30 am we called back and talked to a very rude lady, who claimed to be the supervisor. I think her name was Mitchell or Melinda something like that. She said they had never planned on having someone come back to move the car. She kept telling us the driver had called us, which was not true and that we would have to call our insurance company and file another claim to have them move the car. She was irritated with me and eventually hung up on me. It is ridiculous that they would want our insurance to pay it again after their driver dumped it in front of someone else's house never called, never went to the door, left the keys in the car. Then had us wait all night when we had to work in the morning, then tell us they would come but never planned on coming. Now our insurance has to have another towing company come out and move it since it's been in the road and hopefully does not get a ticket or get hit. While Prairie land got paid to not do their job right. This place is no good, dishonest, rude and unprofessional. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR GIVE THIS WORTHLESS COMPANY YOUR MONEY......
