I rented a vw passat thru Atlas Choice for 22 days . When we reached they gave us a beat up Zafira and we realised one hour after driving, that the tires were bald , wipers not working and engine noise so loud that we could not hear each other while the engine was on.
The car had done 37000 miles without a Tyre replacement
I called them to complain as the car skidded a couple of times and they said they had checked the tyres and it was the renters duty to check tyre tread treads
I would caution against renting from this company. They ruined our annual holiday and we were stressed throughout on either the car skidding, flat tyre or an engine breakdown.

Practical Car Rental a ripoff
We rented from Practical Car rental in Hounslow near London and there a miniscule hairline scratch on the bottom of the bumper and they charged us 50 pounds!! When we tried to reason w/ them there was no discussion.
They were supposed to give us arise to Heathrow and because we were upset left us stranded in the middle of nowhere. We finally convinced them to call a cab. Rude and big cheaters.
Don't go near the nasty people a d place! Also we had to call as they overcharged us on a deposit but only when called caught their mistake.
