My air has been out for. A week.

The manager is very rude and doesnt want to try and help find a work order or have sympathy for being in the heat she rushes you off the phone and is just very unprofessional! They stated they had to order the part and wait for it to arrive the I would be place in line to have someone come and install the part!

I wish I never moved here I dont know why I have been dealing with them for this long . Will be breaking my lease very soon.

Property is not maintained. No manager on Property more than a few hours per week, if that.

Trash is constantly dumped around trash bins, rats seen through the Property. Junk vehicle literally dumped off in the parking lot, not running ,packed with junk and a flat tire, not even tenantsin the building. Looks like a slum. Gutters have not been cleaned out in years, all the gunk runs down into windows.

Residents don't pick up after their dogs. Property stinks.

Toxic environment. Not a suitable environment for families or children.

Idc how cheap these apartments are DO NOT ReNT With Antyting that powerproperties run !!! RENaEee is the rudest one of them all and suppose to be the property manger I cant believe this business is still up it is roach infested maintenance is rude and will lie about fixing things he never appeared to fix !

They will overcharge you and lie to cover up the messed up things thats going on in the apartment I been dealing with mold for 2-3 months plus more they lied about fixing and now I will just need my day in court ! Hopefully someone inspects these horrible apartments and close them down there gross .

Draws were missing from kitchen when rented. Three weeks later and multiple calls still no drawers.

Fridge constantly leaking condensate inside and ruining food, dryer vent clogged, and AC trips off-line in August - no action after one week. Powers Properties has a monopoly in Florence so they dont have to respond.

Called after hour emergency before 6 pm yesterday and they never sent anyone . The lady was rude taking my information!

My air conditioning is not working. I am residing at Heritage apartment at powdersville. Since last 4 weeks it is not working and I am not getting any satisfactory reply.

I’ve never dealt with a more rude bunch of people. Mainly, known around the complex as the old lady or the fat lady.

Very rude and will lie in a drop of a hat. Maintenance is a joke and after hours answering service is an even bigger joke. Left me with a broke AC when it was 89 degrees outside for the entire weekend, not to mention that I had a bad summer cold. They keep patching the AC because their maintenance are not certified and they won’t call a real AC company.

More than anything is the rudeness of the office when you call. Especially the younger of the two heavy set lady. She is so rude that I now avoid her and just call straight to the head office in Florence. I am moving now as we speak to get away from this place.

I will never again rent from these people again and I suggest you don’t either. You can complain to the head office about this staff and nothing is done.

If I were in charge and everyone here hates them I would fire them both. Just my opinion.

Well, I live here also and I have no problems with the staff or maintaince. Also for whom ever posted that picture of the trash, I believe as a tenant you would have to take some personal pride in where you live.

If people wouldn't throw their trash on the ground and learn to use a *** compactor we wouldn't have these problems. The staff is not there to wipe your ***. Grow up, stop *** and check your fellow tenants. Because they throw trash on the ground expecting everyone else to clean up their ***.

To point out, the staff does clean it up, cause i know you didn't. Oh and for the other picture get a *** rag and do some cleaning.

Powers Properties is by far the worst people to rent for.. I've been calling about my air being broke for 2 weeks and the maintence will patch it up enough for it to work for about 2 days and then it's out again..

you have to do and call so much to get anything fixed around here.

The minute I'm able to get something of my own I'm getting out of here.. there are rental properties that are less expensive and treat their renters way better than powers properties.

Powers Properties is the greediest, cheapest, worst company I have ever dealt with. Powers Properties will do anything and everything in its power to keep from spending money to keep residents safe. Powers Properties is headquartered at 3091 S Cashua Dr, Florence, SC 29501. Reach Powers Properties by telephone at (843) 667-****. Do not waste your time trying to call with an after hours maintenance emergency, because Powers Properties does not have a working phone number for after hours emergency maintenance.

If you rent from Powers Properties, you will be subjected to unsafe conditions, unsanitary conditions, run-down buildings, outrageously high rent for the quality, trash everywhere, rude, lazy, incompetent staff, and incompetent, lazy maintenance workers. There is no after hours or weekend maintenance at Powers Properties. If you have a problem with your Powers Properties apartment, it will not get fixed. A member of Powers Properties staff personally threatened me with rent increases, eviction, and legal action I complained about the terrible conditions and poor value of the apartment I rent from Powers Properties.

Every weekend, the trash piles up into a mountain in front of the trash compacter. Powers Properties is too cheap and greedy to provide adequate garbage disposal for its residents. There is one compacter for an apartment complex consisting of hundreds of apartments. Instead of doing something proactive to solve the problem, the staff insists that residents must not put their trash on the ground in front of the compacter. Instead, you are supposed to take the garbage back to your apartment and keep it there until such time as the trash mountain in front of the compacter is cleaned up. Leasing office staff even told me that they call the police on people who leave their trash in front of the compacter! Living here is a nightmare.

By the way, do you ever want to use the dishwasher AND take a hot or warm shower on the same day? Not at Powers Properties apartments, you can't! The hot water heater isn't big enough. Plan your chores accordingly.

One day I came home from work and my throat immediately constricted and I began coughing. There was a note from the staff stating that they came in my apartment (while I was away, without the required notice, and without my permission) and sprayed a chemical poison called Phantom in my kitchen, which is where I cook and store my food! I was having trouble breathing, so I immediately went to the emergency clinic, where the doctor gave me a steroid shot. That night, I had to try to sleep with the balcony door and windows open, with the ceiling fans on, and my air filter on turbo to try to deal with the poison smell, which was still bothering me.

There is mold and mildew in my air heating / cooling system, but since Powers Properties is too cheap to pay for maintenance on weekends, I do not know when (or if) this problem will be fixed. Shameful!
