Refused service due to negative survey answers

My 2007 Maxima was serviced and there were specific things I requested to be done that were not covered by my warranty, i.e. tire rotation and I wanted the cables connected to the battery replaced (there was a large amount of corrosion on the battery). $700 later after replacing belts, hoses etc., I checked under the hood before pulling off and the cables connected to the battery had not been replaced, but I had been charged for it. Now my concern is what else did I just pay for that was NOT actually done. Did my tires get rotated? Did they actually replace the belts and hoses they charged me for? I voiced my concerns and the service manager (Sam Pacheco) came to assure me work had actually been done on my vehicle. He attempted to rectify the situation by refunding my money for the battery cables and the tire rotation, he also offered me a free oil change when I returned. It was a great gesture, but I still was dissatisfied with my experience. I reflected my dissatisfactions in the survey I received online and was refused service upon my next visit. According to Omar, one of the service associates, Sam the service manager refused to work on my vehicle because I gave a negative/bad review about my service experience. I was forced to drive an additional 20 miles out of my way to another dealer. I then called to speak to the general manager (Mir Raza), I explained the situation and told him it was unfair and NOT very professional to refuse to service my vehicle due to me giving my honest opinion in the survey. He told me he would look into it and call me back. He NEVER did. The next day I went to the dealership to discuss my concerns with the GM. Mir Raza basically told me if I was unhappy with the service I received during my previous visit, I should not have returned. His attitude and some of his comments were very sarcastic and condescending. As a person that works in the "Customer Service" industry, my goal is to NEVER drive a customer away, but to do whatever I can to ensure my customer WANTS to return, apparently Mir Raza does NOT share the same concept of customer satisfaction. I am ready to trade my car in and purchase a new one, but it most definitely will NOT be with AUTO NATION / POWER NISSAN. Another note to Mir Raza and staff, do not ask your customers to complete surveys if you are not prepared to take the good with the bad.

Spot Delivery Scam

DO NOT buy/lease from Nissan Power in Chandler. They are crooks and scam artists. I recently leased a 2011 Nissan Rogue. The salesman ran my credit, showed me the payment options, we agreed and I signed the lease and drove off with the car. All indications were that the car was mine. He never once stated anything about a spot delivery, which means there was a chance the lease could be denied later, or I could drive off with the car and they work the details out later. Never once mentioned that to me. They called me a week later and said I was rejected because of my credit history. My credit has been near flawless over the past few years. It was 4 years ago that I had a lot of issues. I've worked really hard to improve this. Over a week later I was told my contract and lease agreement meant nothing and I had to bring the car back. I was never told this and had all legal documentation and lease agreement to show. They said I wasn't approved to lease, BUT was approved for a loan to buy the car?!? The "best" they could off is $414 a month for 60 months. They could get it down to around $380 a month for 66 months. I came into the dealership thinking between $350-370 tops a month for 60 months to buy. I know my credit isn't that bad. I don't know what APR they were offering, but every article I read about this "spot delivery scam" is coming true to a T. They called me back a week after we got the car, told me I wasn't approved, told me I had to return the car or pay more money for more months. 3 weeks later, I am still negotiating. It's ridiculous. I haven't had peace of mind in 3 weeks because of Nissan. I told them that I couldn't do those terms and said I would bring the car back on Saturday (it being a Thursday). They called me back, first time in a week mind you, and said they just got word from their "higher ups" and that this situation has to be resolved today. Funny, how they let me drive it for three weeks, but when I say I'm bringing it back and didn't want to compromise to their new deal, they want it back immediately. I honestly think they thought I was going to buckle and accept their terms. When I didn't, all of a sudden this is an urgent matter that must be resolved immediately. This is how shady and terrible it makes Nissan and their customer service look. They tried to scam me out of more money, I held my ground and they wanted to retreat, causing my wife and I 3 weeks of misery. I filed complaints with Nissan corporate and was told they have no aurhotity over the actual dealerships. Great help their customer service was. I also filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Arizona Attorney General, whom told me despite the legal contract, if the financing wasn't approved I have to give the car back. I still am in shock at this scam. I don't get it, they definitely won't be able to sell this car as new any more as it has close to 900 miles on it now. I felt absolutely hassled and scammed. It has now been three weeks to the day since we got our car. Every day has been a nightmare. I've tried calling the dealership for the last week and a half. It just rings. No one picks up. I've had only two return phone calls. This is the worst experience my wife and I have ever had. I want everyone to be aware of this spot delivery scam. Make sure you are 100% sure the car is yours and approved before you drive off. And, DO NOT buy or lease from Nissan Power in Chandler. They are crooks and scam artists. Terrible customer service and no regard for people. All they care about is making more money at ANY expense.

It never changes

We bought our first Nissan at Power Nissan Tempe. We paid for an extended warranty, but they actually had TWO different warranties on two different computer systems. When we tried to have it checked under the warranty, service had a 75,000 warranty, the business office had a 100,000 mile warranty. When I complained, the 100,000 mile warranty conveniently was deleted from their computer. No one in the business office remembered my call. How convenient. Now we have a new General Manager. No more problems? I have a Versa. While driving from Arizona to Washington, I noticed the tire light kept going on on the dashboard. It was checked by a dealer in Washington and I was given a Service Bulletin that the blower motor had to be replaced. He said it would tke about two weeks to get the part in, but we could not stay. No problem. The dealer in Tempe could do it when I returned home. 1st call to Tempe service - the part was not even on their computer. Few weeks later called another dealer - sure part is in California. Called Tempe back - transferred to parts - usually they require a deposit, but since it is a defective part, he would order it and call me back. OK, no problem. Called three weeks later - no record of my ever calling. I would have to drive 50 miles for them to check the car to see if I need the part. THEN they would order it and I would have to drive 50 miles again for them to install it and drive 50 miles to return home. Well, the reason the tire light goes on is because you are driving "65-70 mph with the air conditioner on HIGH speed for 10-15 minutes". In my case the light might on on after 15 minutes, maybe after an hour, maybe longer. Anybody want to drive with the air conditioner on full blast at 70 mph for a prolonged period of time in January? The man in service asked who I had talked to in parts. Funny, I did not know I had to take notes. I thought they were under better management how. Maybe it is time for a change. Since Power Group has no phone number to call them with a complaint, I had to call Nissan directly with my complaint.

Power Nissan Chandler, AZ "service" dept. STINKS

The service department says they are just too busy to help. "Go away, make an appointment and come back again later" is their line. Unsatisfactory on so many levels. I witnessed, through the window, an office with a seemingly adequate number of staff bustling around inside. (It took them 10 minutes to notice I was waiting) Come on, people! Are you really that busy or just LAZY? If Nissan corporate HQ was aware of what was going on at this dealership, heads would roll!!! They really need to re-staff the Power Nissan Chandler service department with people that aren't so lazy and WANT to be helpful to customers and work. Some "service", indeed.

Power Nissan Chandler Financing lies

I came to Power Nissan Chandler with a Capital One Blank check and was told that the deal was good. They explained that the blank check was only intended to make it's customers feel good and that I would need to fill in all of their financing paperwork so that they could send my funding to Capital One. After dropping off my title I had found that they were not using my blank check and had decided to finance me through Wachovia. I would not have been so upset if I had received explication prior to this change. This dealer lies to make money off of their customers. Be careful!

Hello, the same thing happened to me. They took out a loan for $21,000 with Wachovia Financal Services after they had me sign the Capital One Blank Check.

I thought the car was paid for. Because the car I bought came from a bankrupt rent-a -car company and it had a lien on it I wouldn't have found out about the bogus bank loan until the first payment was due. A contract of 9.9% interest @ 72 months on $21,000. My Capital One loan was for 6.9% @60 months 0n $16,300.I've been to a attorney and much has happen.

I would apperecate if you could contact me to talk. Thank You.

When I moved to Gilbert & had a Pathfinder, I started going to Power Nissan. I had not had very good experiences previously with Power's sales dept in either Tempe or Chandler, but figured that the experience with thee service dept is completely different, so I gave them chance.

Everything was great while my service manager, Gary Davidson, was there.

When he was out, it was a totally different story from being ignored when I walked in & waiting several minutes before anyone even acknowledged me to being told that I needed to make an appointment for several days in the future to fix a problem that I kept having with the new tires that THEY installed (making my car unsafe to drive), there has been no real service since Gary left. So I left...

Power Nissan in Chandler, AZ We purchased a used SUV from them, the salesman was awesome! The Finance Manager was a tool his first "deal" was about 3k over priced, so 6hrs and 3 "deals" later we settled on a price signed the contract with the only add-on being GAP insurance and left with the SUV... A few days later we got a call from the "Finance Manager" saying the financing had fallen through. This seemed strange to me because we had a signed contract with payments, interest rate, and a lender stated on it, so I contacted our attorney he reviewed the contract and said it looked binding to him. I have since been in contact the Attorney General of Arizona and was told this practice has a name "spot delivery scam" and is commen in Arizona, most people take the dealers word when there told they will have to have a co-signer, put more money down, or bring the vehicle back. But I was told by the Attorney General and my personal Attorney under Arizona Law: * If you have signed papers, you own the car, regardless of whether the vehicle has been financed. *Your credit was good or the dealer would not have delivered the car to you at the price you agreed to pay. *A finance document showing payments, deposit, interest rate and other financial items is a binding contract, giving you specific legal rights. *You own the car subject to making payments only. The dealer cannot change that once you take possession. *Keep all copies of your paperwork and anything else associated with the sale (including calendars, photographs, advertisements). If the finance manager asks for your papers at any time for any reason, refuse! Keep these documents in a safe place, not the car. *If you are called back to the dealership to sign additional papers, either do not go or do so in a different car than the one you bought. *Have a friend or spouse drive you and witness whatever is being told to you. This will prevent the dealer from taking your car as hostage, an all too common happening. *If a dispute arises with the dealer over the contract and the dealer demands the car is returned, park it in a garage or remote location until the matter is resolved, to prevent it from being taken against your wishes. *Put together a complete timeline of everything that happened from the time you thought of purchasing the car until the car was taken away. *Try to remember specific names of dealership personnel and any statements that were made to you during conversations with the sales and finance staff. *Keep track of all monies you had invested into the purchase, including registration, insurance, down payment and trade. Never pay cash and always get a receipt! So the bottom line is they unlawfully take possession of the vehicle we plan to file a lawsuit. I will keep this post updated.

This was the first time i have bought a car from power nissan in chandler and the last time i will ever buy one from them again.

first off, we had bought a centra from these guys and it was on the contract they would have the windows tainted.

so once we purchased the car the dumb *** sales man by the name of SAM>>had told us just to come by on the weekend so we can get our windows tainted.SO................The weekend came along and we went to the dealership since it was on the contract they would do the windows for free, but when we got there at like 10:00 am they said they were going to be busy all day so just to come back the next week.

so us being young went back the next week , this time at around 8:00 am. when we got there we were waiting for someone to attend us and when they finally did they said they were full and we had to make an appointement.(the car salesman never told us that we had to make an appointment).

so we made the appointment for the next week at 10:am and we got there and they were finally attending us, and im thinking>> finally!!!

the service guy there said it would be done at around mid afternoon.

so i wait in the lobby and it hits around 12:30 pm and i go and ask them how much longer would it be..

so the service man told one of the mechanics to go check how much longer it would be and when the mechanic comes back he said the tinter had left.

THE TINTER LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 HOW DO U JUST LEAVE ON THE JOB....

they said the tinter left for lunch and his car broke up, but when i asked them when he would be back they said>> WE COULDNT REACH HIM....

HOW CAN THEY KNOW HIS CAR BROKE DOWN, AND THEN CONTRADIDCT THEMSELVES SAYING THEY CANT REACH HIM........

the next week we finally got it done ...........

2: The finance dumb *** by the name of mark jones was supposed to send us a new trp (Temporary register place) because ours has expired 4 days ago..

we called him the day before they expired and he said he would call me the next day...

IT IS NOW 4 DAYS AFTER AND WE HAVE NOT RE CIEVED A CALL FROM HIM, MY PLATES ARE EXPIRED..........

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE, THEY ARE SO IGNORANT AFTER U PURCHASE THE CAR FROM THEM.

*** POWER NISSAN I WILL NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THEM AGAIN

Power nissan chandler bait & switch

After a bad experience at there tempe show room we went to chandler on a advertised altima for $15,000. We asked twice if they had this car and how much was it and both times we were told by "Elias" that they had a red altima 2007 for $15,000.00. We get there and he says he has 2 cars to show us. We pick the white one, go for a test drive, say we're interested and he comes back with a figure of $22,000. He said he had a red one for $15,000.00 but it sold but he had another one for around $15,000. The red cars glove compartment was broken and the windshield had a crack in it and the trunk wouldn't open because the glove compartment was broken. They told us we could have this gem for $16,ooo.00 and change. They totally wasted our 2 hours in the showroom and the 45 minute drive each way. After we told them they were thieves they still called to see if we were interested in purchasing this car.

Power nissan tempe ran out of gas on test drive

Power nissan tempe took my son for a test drive and they ran out of gas! The car started rolling backwards on an exit ramp. He had to walk a quarter of a mile in over 100 degree temperatures back to the dealership. Someone did pick him up when he wasn't almost back to the dealership. When he had asked what the symbol on the dashboard meant ( a triangle) the salesperson said it was nothing. They didn't even call to see if everything was ok, but two days later they wanted to see if we were still interested in the car.

I went in for an oil change. The final cost: $900.00

I made an appointment for an oil change with Power Nissan of Tempe Arizona in response to a "Customer Appreciation" coupon. The mechanic called to say I needed more than $800.00 in work done to the car. I asked what I needed to keep it on it on the road and authorized his quote of $300.00. When I returned to pick up my car the total was more than $900.00. They implied I was a liar saying they had the tape and threatened to hold my car until they had payment in full for the unauthorized service.
