We were told the loan would be a home improvement line of credit to cover windows in our home. We were told excess amount not used for the windows would be put on a Well Fargo credit card.(which could be used any where). We found out later the entire credit line was considered a Home project Visa. It made it look like we got a Visa card and maxed it out immediately. This lowered our Credit score. I am happy with the windows, but the company... Read more

Time suck & rip off. The guy who came to do an estimate literally took FOUR hours, it's like we couldn't get him to leave. Sales tactics were that of a used car salesman - have to commit right now or the price goes up $10k. Have gotten 3 other estimates - Power was 2.5x higher than all others. Literally more than double. Also declined interest in financing that they offer, yet about a week after their visit I received a letter that I've been pre... Read more

Do not want to be contacted tried that letting everyone know how much they suck=priceless! Installed about 10 windows at a cost of $10,000 and oops they forgot to put the insulation in but they told me no worries it's fine to put in after the fact!!! Ummmm not they leak so bad and when a rep comes out they say the actual breeze you can feel is called convection..., when my single pane George Washington era windows didn't do that! No worries they... Read more

Every year Power sends a crew around to drum up business. I get the same pitch - we are working around the corner and noticed your roof. This should have been the first red flag but we were thinking about replacing our windows so we figured we would use them for one of our 3 estimates. So my wife tries to call them, to make an appointment and they wouldn't talk to her - they only wanted to talk to me. This should have been the second red flag.... Read more

Our neighborhood west of Houston flooded severely in April 2016. The PHR boys appeared in late July, probably knowing that people would have insurance cash to spend on replacing their flood-damaged windows and siding. At the time, my husband and I were living in our garage as our home repairs were undertaken. Two young PHR boys showed up saying that many of our neighbors were replacing their windows using PHR. They even named names. Being a... Read more

I had an appointment with Ryan to get an estimate for a roof job. He claimed he took pictures of my roof in the attic and showed them to me. I was shocked to see the damage and I admitted that I don't normally go up there to look at the roof. He gave a sales pitch and wouldn't leave when I told him I would have to think about it because the price was more for a Taj Mahal than for my small house. He kept going on and on and I was trying to make... Read more

What a nightmare – Power Home Remodeling / PowerHMG has created us a huge problem with credit score! I decided to purchase replacement for all our windows at a total cost of over 21k. The sales consultant proposed me financing through Wells Fargo (WF), who supposedly had the best interest rate, explaining that I would then pay my debt in installments over the next 7 years. He said that I was required to open a credit card with WF, but could just... Read more
